I haven't received an email from eb world since 2014 it seems. Any idea how to fix this, I checked the settings and I have notifications all turned on.

    • Message them through their facebook page, or the call centre number and they should be able to help you out

    • +1

Same here, Special Events and Promotions/sales both turned on and have never received an promo email in the last 5 years. Seems this deal was targeted to random users anyway.

      • Yep same for me. I emailed them asking for a code. No response.

    Hey all,

Just called EB World and had a whinge, you had to of ordered god of war or had a very high ps4 purchase presence……. if anyone would have a spare code, please personal message me on this or facebook. Will pay $

    • you had to of ordered god of war or had a very high ps4 purchase presence

What a joke. Eb won't be getting any $$ from me through this deal then. I'll wait for EOFY.

    • I bought a PS4 orignally when it came out, and pro a month ago and buy ps4 games at least fortnightly. and I have not received a code. I'm not sure how true this is.

  • I know I'm late to the party but if anyone has a spare code please DM me. I'll send you a 20 dollar present in return to express my gratitude

    Hey guys,

I'm not in the market for a new TV at the moment, so you guys can help yourselves to my code: (Edit: Code's been redeemed)

Just comment below if you've redeemed it. Enjoy!

    • damn somebody must've refresh this page every 5s or something. Meanwhile I am still waiting on my luck for the code…Thanks for you code, you helped a soul.

      • Thank you EpyonZero.

Rave75, yes I did have a auto refresher addon, because I have missed out 4 times before.

        • congrats on ur new TV!

    • Nooo missed out. Thank you anyway tho

      • Waaaat, people are nice! I am willing to pay $100

        • still need a code? =)

  • Please PM me if you have a spare code. Been considering a 4K TV for a while.

  • Is it worth spending an extra ~$300/400 on the 9300E model over the 9000E model for the same size?

Haven't really found any opinions on this.

    • Yeah, I think the processor is a lot better too

    • The X9300 has the X1 Extreme Processor, better peak brightness which is great for HDR and better blacks even though it's not a FALD set

      • But does this make a sizeable difference?

        • Well I guess that depends on what your main usage for this tv is going to comprise of. If you really want the best HDR set out of the 2 then the 9300E wins hands down thanks to being exceptionally brighter compared to the 9000E (I think it's the brightest 4k HDR TV on the market currently? Correct me if I'm wrong). If you don't care for HDR at all and want to save $300/400 then go with the 9000E which is a great tv on it's own right. Do note that the 9300E is also future proofed as it supports Dolby Vision whereas the 9000E doesn't since it doesn't have the X1 Extreme processor. Also I found this great video that does a techincal comparison between the 2 - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t0GzpKxakZM

          I hope that helps.

        • @lupin3rd: Hey, thanks a lot for your comment. Will check out the link. I'm prepared to spend the extra, but now I'm wondering if easternculture is right and we'll see them drop further in price.

The 9300E has been on sale for ~$1800 for months now. Surely we're due for an extra drop soon?

    • X1

  • The X9000E 65” is on sale at JB 👌🏼

    • More than double the price to what some of the OZs here initially paid for X9000E 49” after utilising the unique eb games code :-(

  • Hi there. Could someone please pm me their code. Really appreciate it!

  • I also wouldn't mind a code if someone has one spare. We are actually on the hunt for a new TV as we don't have one at all.

  • -1

Refreshing like a madman!! Please somone just PM me a code and I will paypal you $100. I am a man of my word.

  • Would love a spare code Pm'd if anyone has one to spare, cheers.

So I'm a level 4 EB World member and I don't even get a code. EB Games really knows how to look after their regular customers…

    Edit: Just spoke with a rep from EB Games and they said;
"The Sony TV promotion email is being sent out to select EB World members that meet certain criteria, which includes being highly engaged in PlayStation content, consoles and titles, such as the upcoming God of War."

    • Ah I was on the right track with the PS4 owners part.

  • If anyone has a spare code would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

  • Can someone spare me a code please? PM me.

    • Still no code.. Anyone?

  • Any idea on delivery timescales for those that ordered? Just curious if it’s a matter of few days or will be several weeks if they’re getting stock in from abroad etc.

Assumed they have thousands of units gathering dust in a warehouse somewhere hence a clearance sale but online order says:-

Orders currently processing, awaiting on backorder, or pre-ordered and awaiting despatch will show here.

    • What model did you ordered?

      • +1

Went for the 60". The larger screen size for the great price is more useful than some extra brightness and HDR detail that won't really notice.

        • Awesome… I ordered 49" one and my status is also the same as that of yours :-(

Orders currently processing, awaiting on backorder, or pre-ordered and awaiting despatch will show here.

    • I ordered the 43 and it failed delivery today, back to depot :(

  • +1 for a code if anyone have one please.

    Thanks

  • Does any one have a code? Thanks in advance :)

  • Can i have a code if someone have a spare one ..Please

  • Still on the hunt for a code if anyone's feeling generous!

  • Is this deal finished? I am still hopeful and trying to find a code..

  • Does anybody have a spare code? Please message me if so, thankyou :)

  • claimed

  • Anyone? 24h wait and still no luck? Thanks

  • I'm after a code too. If you send it to me, I'll send some coriander to your enemy.

  • After a day begging…still no code for me.
At least Ozbargain gained heaps of members by this post….silver lining and all that.

    • I'm sorted thanks to the ozbargain community

  • If I don’t get a code the wife is going to force me to spend the $1k on a Dyson vac!!!

  • Anyone got a spare code? :)

  • Anyone with a spare code could you please PM me. Thanks. :)

Good news for those interested in 60" X67E 4K HDR SMART TV with ClearAudio+ @ $1099 (was $1999), but not being able to find the eb games unique codes online. Harvey norman is offering the same model for lesser price after 13% OFF promotion starting today:

    60" X67E 4K HDR SMART TV with ClearAudio+ @ $1043

    https://www.harveynorman.com.au/sony-bravia-60-x6700e-4k-ult…

      but i want the x9000e…….

      • 49x9000e are currently out of stock and sold out @ official Sony Australia online store.

        • +1

Well just my luck then, will wait for another deals i guess. the 55" x9000 is not worth it on Harvey I suppose.

  • Can't believe I didn't see this two days ago - my parents are looking for 49" and holding off on x9000e due to cost! In the unlikely event that the 49" model comes back in stock, could a kind soul please PM me a code? Thanks.

    • getting the code is even more unlikely than x9000 back in stock

      • hahaha

  • Is anyone willing to share a code?
We are looking at the 55ich 9300 model
    Thanks in advance

  • Is the code for EB member? or a EB member who brought a PS4 Pro?

    • one of the member here contacted EB and this is what they said:

"The Sony TV promotion email is being sent out to select EB World members that meet certain criteria, which includes being highly engaged in PlayStation content, consoles and titles, such as the upcoming God of War."

      • Thanks, I don't mind buying dics from them…just all the games I brought are through online download LOL

  • Damn. I was waiting on another deal for the KD49X9000E :(

  • Please PM if you have a code available.

    • Still hoping people are sharing codes - looking to pick up the 43" TV to sit on a desk as a gaming screen.

    • Thanks - I've got a code - in case anyone is scanning the comments for requests still.

  • Did anyone have a spare code?
    Would be appreciated!
    Thanks in advance.

  • hmm i have a code now but x9000 has sold out..sigh

    • Do you mind sharing the code?
Only if you are not planning to use it this time orz

      Appreciated!

I'm seriously thinking going to gaming forum to ask around lol

      • I am still deciding which tv. X9300 seems too expensive for me, meanwhile x8000 seems to be bad value. Which one are you thinking to buy?

        • In relation to the sizes (as your original 9000 is smaller than the 9300)

If you are using it for yourself, then no need to cost extra for bigger TV, like all my friends are getting the 65inch and I'm comfortably using my 40inch one

          In relation to the price
The 9300 55inch is $1800, whereas the 9000 55inch in the market is $1539 (the good guys today are doing $1739 with $200 store credit) or $1565 from JB HIFI (they can price match the good guys and then if you happens to have the 10% giftcard discount). I have also heard JB HIFI also can do price match for the $200 store credit.

In relation to the 9300 vs 9000 itself
If you change TV often then no need go for the 9300, April will have new models coming out might end up way better then the current, otherwise just get what's best available in the market end of story.

        • @bring32: $999 for 49" X9000 is simply the best. I don't really need something bigger than 50". Sigh… i will wait a bit maybe they will restock 49"

        • @rave75:
I'm after A1 actually hahahahaha, maybe I should wait too until it has 50% discount

You should wait until the very last day see if they ever restock it, I mean constantly checking

        • @rave75: And with 2% cash reward, it will actually cost you $ 965.04 ($999-$33.96).

  • Is there anyone willing to share their spare code?

    I'm a newbie but I'm a goody

    PM is much appreciated :)

  • Ah bugger, I forgot Cashrewards at checkout. Is there anything I can do to rectify this, does anyone know? :(

  • +2

Ozbargain community has treated me well in the past and continue to be my main source of truth when comparing prices. I have recently bought a tv, therefore am happy to share with fellow ozbargainers my code and I only ask for one thing. When you see someone in need of a hand in the future and you have the power to do so, act on it.
First to send me a PM will get the code, please ensure you have the option to receive PM back.

All the best everyone. May the bargains be with you….

    • Code has been claimed! Enjoy your new tv!

      • Thank you, its on its way :)

  • +1

I have a code but does anyone have a spare stack code for use on JB HI FI? Just thought I would ask but all good if no one does. If anyone is desperate for a new TV then please reply to my comment. I am happy to give it to you. Thanks

    • +1

Please send it my way via PM.

Apologies - no stack code - but desperate to pick up the 43".

      • +1

Sending you the code now. All good about the Stack Code. Just thought someone would be kind enough to reciprocate the code sharing. Been after something on the JB website for a while now and the code could come in handy for their inevitable next 20% off Blu Ray and DVD sale.

The 55"X9300E is now out of stock

  • Has anybody had their 49x9000 shipped out yet?

    • I received an email about my order being shipped on 13th April with ETA 16th April… I ordered the 49X9000E model on 11th April.

      • Hmm, I ordered on the 12th. Have heard nothing from Sony… But it was showing back-order when i did order, which got me kind of worried. Im just hoping they can meet the supply of all the back-orders.

        • I see… Even when I placed the order on 11th April, it was showing the same "Back-order to be fulfilled this week".

        • @jaym84: thanks for the reply’s. I’ll give it a few more days then try to contact them if I hear nothing.

        • @bubber: Sure… Do let me know, when you receive yours (or if there is any update on your order status) :-)

        • @jaym84: my DHL tracking is still sitting at 'created' estimated delivery was today.

        • Mine hasn't even shipped yet. Spoke to Sony support and confirmed the order and that is was allocated but hasn't been sent for delivery yet and has no idea when it would be. Wasn't too helpful. Half expecting it to be cancelled and refunded…
