The Hot and Spicy $5 Box includes:
1 piece of Hot and Spicy Chicken
1 Wicked Wing
Regular Chips
Regular Potato and Gravy
250ml Solo
It’s available until 4pm everyday from April 17 to May 14 (one day earlier in QLD/WA).

You just can't ask for three breasts if you buy three pieces for example.
Which piece is the best bang for buck? Breast or thigh?
Breast has the most meat but can be a little dry.
Thigh is juicy but can be more difficult to eat due to shape and meat location and have some more unsavory bits on there.
Wing is easy to eat and the meat is often considered to be one of the tastier parts of the chicken.
@samfisher5986: But for KFC, the wing is considered the worst part of the chicken. That's why back in the days they had this "5 wing pack" special for $5 because the wing is worst part and no one wanted it.
The only reason I would agree is because some wicked wings are huge which make the normal wings seem poor value.

I've never had a problem swapping the potato and gravy for an upsize of the chips.
The cans of drink are usually the 250ml ones which they don't allow swapping out, but the 375ml ones they do.

I used to get heartburn from stuff like that until I lost weight.

Starcy chips and doughy white bread can really bring on the burn for me.
I've found for myself that having a green apple a day is just as effective as a PPI (heartburn medication).
Just FYI PPI's aren't just simply heartburn medication.
There is a wide range of reasons why you might have an issue, personally myself I found losing weight the solution.
I used to use Omeprazole but I don't need it anymore. Terrible medication the body becomes dependent on.
I wish my doctor was more focused on fixing the problem rather then slapping a bandaid on it which was bad for my health.
About 10 years ago I was prescribed a pack of PPI (can't remember the name) as I was suffering really bad heartburn for months (would cause me to wake up in the middle of the night in pain). I was a poor government funded uni student and my diet at the time was 90% mi goreng noodles, toasted sandwichs, soda and candy.
I've never been overweight and I exercise often, so it wasn't fitness.
I didn't want to become reliant on the PPI, so I did some research around then and changed my diet to include more fresh meat and veggies (never gave me heartburn), cutting out sugary/fizzy drinks and also having a green apple a day (something about the pH balance).
I guess I'm lucky in that regard, but I get flare ups every now and then if I forget to eat apples for a week or two and down 2 dominos pizzas in a sitting.
TUMS (the usa kind) 1000mg is amazing for heartburn.. Clears it right up and they taste amazing.. like fruit tingles

Anyone else find discrepancies between KFC store prices on the app? Gone were the days I could just show them a voucher on the phone. Local Uni KFC jacks up all prices on the app. Every deal is at least 2-3$ more expensive and there are special combo deals.

Regarding the H&S being available in QLD, is this something you need to ask for? Or is it meant to be displayed on the menu?
I was in QLD recently and went to 2 different KFCs (Westfield Chermside in Brisbane, and KFC Miami in Gold Coast) - the one in Chermside didn't sell them and I don't see it on the menu, and I didn't order from KFC Miami but I don't see H&S being offered on the menu either.
Usually if you order chicken pieces they ask you if you want original or H&S. I usually ask for 9 pieces of H&S on Tuesday's to save them asking me.

Sorry to burst everyone's bubble but this is not a "regular" chips, it's just a "small" chips? In the picture and all previous promotion it has only been a small with a decreased size can.

There's no small size at KFC no, but this is a "small" chips in the way you don't get as much in the bag as in the box. Same with the can, it's a small can, not a regular one.
I've got the free regular chips from survey and had them and then put the chips from the paper bag into the box as a way of testing this and it's only 3/4 full.
With the survey i once was told the number i put was invalid.. Are they able to check really??

Yes there is a way of verifying the code is valid. If it's from the same store an email with the survey is also sent. (Past employee)

Ask at your store if you can get a "Bring Back Dinner" meal, it is a promo/coupon offer on their POS - not advertised in store. For a limited time some stores are doing 9pc O.R. (which you could sub for H&S), and 2 large sides.

Was trying to edit forgot to put in it's $15 for the meal, it's more expensive to buy the chicken alone (without sides). Sides can also be 4 x dinner rolls or salads if you don't feel like the chips/gravy.
I know a lot of people love spicy, no offense intended, but spicy food just doesn't agree with everyone. Can it be swapped to regular chicken?
