Hell yes been waiting for these. Mix in some oats and some granola, sprinkle some cinnamon and good to go.

    • I'm confused … why would you buy a pot but mix things into it? You lose all the convenience but pay convenience prices per serving …

      • +3

because you can turn a tub into a complete breakfast

      • +7

because you can't buy larger versions of this

        • +1

Yep that's the issue. They need 1kg tubs of it. Good for the gains.

      • What convenience? It doesn't even come with a spoon.

  • hmm can't find it on the catalouge at all, where are you seeing this?

    • +7

Moo You must be fun at parties.

      • -8

At parties - yes. On forums discussing the products of suffering - no, just frank.

        • I speak for the cows! They want a pay rise!

        • +1

          Dont bring frank into it.

      • Next thing we will have an International Sorry Day for cows..

    • Spotted a vegan. I think.

      • -2

Imagine if you could spot the tortures in obtaining bovine lactations as easily as you can spot those talking about it.

        • I promise to spare a thought towards those bovines when I enjoy my next yoghurt and toasted cheese sanga - try it, it's delicious!

        • @Dadidalol:

Here you go, watch this as you down your next serve of coagulated non-human milk.

Wow! Hope they didn't waste the meat. Should be very tender.

      (profanity) we're a clever race.
I wonder who even thought to try that? Someone buy them a beer.

  • +2

Bought these last time they were on special….and was very disappointed. Tastes very fake and powdery compared to proper yoghurt. Chobani and Gippsland Dairy are miles better IMHO.

    • +4

TBH I thought these were quite good. Nowhere near as 'creamy' as others, but filling and as the stats show, pretty healthy too.

    • +10

Surprised you think these taste fake, considering Chobani has about 7g of added sugar and Gippsland has like 20g of added sugar. So that 'real' taste from the others would be more fake.

      • +1

        Hey Plasma,

Not trying to start an argument, just curious where the 7g of added sugar figure comes from when the OP states the yopro has more sugar per 100 g?

        • +3

I think Plasma was referring to the flavoured variety because eating plain yogurt is pretty depressing. For the plain flavours yes YoPro has slightly more sugar, but when comparing the flavoured variants of both brands, Chobani has twice the amount of sugar despite being the staple 'gains' yogurt - until YoPro came onto the market at least.

        • @kenunderscore: Yeah I was talking about the flavoured one, specifically blueberry, because it was the only comparable one between YoPro, Gippsland and Chobani. Blueberry Twist by Gippsland had like 28g per serve, and that's crazy for a tub that small.

    • +5

I've become a huge fan of yopro, took a few tries but now I can't go back to chobani, they are great tasting in a smoothie and are probably healthier than yoghurt with added sugar.

      • +3

Same here. Chobani tastes too sour for me. These are perfect.

  • mmm… Dannon.

  • +1

Thank you! These are my go to yogurt due to the low carb. Love that the flavour is very subtle. I recommend the strawberry, vanilla and mango.

  • +1

These are great. Just enough sugar to make it palatable.

  • +3

    Healthwise:
Yo Pro flavours > Chobani flavours
Chobani plain > Yo Pro plain

  • -2

Danone yoghurts are full of preservatives. Save your pennies for when Chobani goes on sale!!

    • +2

Yopro Plain ingredients: Fresh milk, enzyme (lactase), live yoghurt cultures .

Chobani Plain ingredients: Skim Milk, Live Yogurt Cultures.

I don't see any preservatives in the Yopro.

  • You missed calcium…

    • I vote YoPro.

  • When is this meant to go on sale?

  • +2

(25/04) This was NOT on promotion at my local (Gladstone Park VIC) and scanned at $2.25; when speaking with the manager, he said it is likely to be state specific and not for VIC, or online only. It was not in the catalogue either.

      • But is this a particular state?

        • Not sure, lasoo is set to national

    • Same. Not online either.

Edit: very dodgy. Not half price on Woolies Online Android app but is via website.

      • Not showing in vic

      • I got nothing in the Android app, online or in store at my local in Melbourne.

They're just full price everywhere I look.

  • +1

Seems like these aren't half price in VIC, rather the Chobani ones are instead.

  • Wish I read the comments before I wasted a lunch break trying to stock up in Melb.

They didn’t have them on special at the 2 local ones to me, but I can buy them online and pick up for that price. They are not in the printed catalogue either but Chobani are.

    Very weird.

I just went, and not on sale in SA eastern suburbs. How annoying?
