Howdy!

Taking advantage of the 10% off discount from eBay i've dropped the price again on the Popular 9020 Desktop stock.

Pretty much the same as this deal https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/368948 - However this current stock does not have SSD's :(

Dell Optiplex 9020 SFF
Core i5 4570 3.2GHz (4C)
8GB RAM
500GB HDD
They have 7/8 Home COA's but they are imaged with Windows 10.

Also

I've got about 40ish of the 9010 i7 stock which i've dropped the price on too.

Dell OptiPlex 9010 i7 SOLD OUT

The interesting thing with these is they have standard ATX boards and normal PSU connectors so you can fit them in a normal case if you wanted to build something up. Don't forget these are licensed as well.

Dell Optiplex 9010 Desktop Format
Core i7 3770 3.4GHz
8GB RAM
500Gb HDD
They have 7 Home COA's but they are imaged with Windows 10.

    Please make one with ssd

+1 doesn't make sense to have this the same price as the last deal when it has mechanical HDD :\, have to spend an extra $100 to stick an SSD in. Same deal as last time and i'll buy.

    • buy your own bro

      here you go, https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/373661

  • I think there should be an option to not include a HDD and save like $40 or something. The last deal with the SSD was great, this deal not so much because lets be honest, most of us will remove the HDD and have to spend $60 putting a 128gb SSD in.

I'll buy this next time the SSD is included! great stuff though

    • Unfortunately in this market, the pricing is based around Model/ CPU If it's got a SSD or HDD it doesn't add or detract. Same with OS Version.

Putting new SSD's in, inflates the base price, it's better to leave it as an option.

It's luck of the draw, I don't have the luxury or picking and choosing what we get in, it's take all.

      • ah no worries, be sure to make another post though when you do get the 128gb SSDs :D

  • Hi,

Just wondering if I ever need to format the computer how do I go about doing it if it comes with Win 10 already loaded?

Does these machines come with warranty though? Sorry, never bought a refurb, so a bit concern here. Thanks.

  • Hi OP. I bought one and sent a message to see if it can be picked up tomorrow. Is that possible?

  • Can both 9010 DT and 9020 SFF fit in a normal mATX case with using a ATX PSU? or just the 9010 DT one can?

    • Neither can fit into mATX case. These OptiPlex use proprietary layout, and the mounting holes are not on the same locations.

      • See OP’s comment in the post above re the 9010. He mentions about standard ATX board that can use normal pc case. Just wondering would 9020 also fits? Can OP answer this?

Why would one get the i5 when the i7 is only like $10 more with this deal?

Also how well would this run games like PUBG or DAYZ etc? Not looking for top end just if it would run to be able to play decently? Would of course be looking to add in a video card and not use onboard graphics but even standalone just wondering.

Also recommendations for graphics cards for these? Not looking to break the bank, just something decent.

  • Based on the YouTube videos I can find, this would not be able to fit both a 1050ti low profile and a pcie T6E tp link wireless card. Can anyone confirm this please?
