This is probably the cheapest price for a grey import Samsung Galaxy S8. It comes with Vaya's 1 year warranty.
If you are after AU stock, the "cheapest" I have found is from All Phones which comes to ~$850

You're probably right. For $640 phone, you would have to find a plan at $22/mo or cheaper for it to work out to be cheaper than the Optus deal.
I was paying 40 a month sim only plan for 15gb. For an extra 9 a month I get the s8 so figured it was worth it. Pulled the trigger this morning.
if your are buying from VAYA get ready for dodgy phone without warranty even though it is within the so called one year warranty period. Stay away from this seller!!
If you pay with Paypal you atleast get 180 days to file a dispute for your money back.
So i guess you can count that as being half a year warranty haha.i had a very bad experience with them. my S7 screen liquify in 3 months time, then took weeks to repaired, postage on my own.
After few more months, no display at all and they refused to repair or pay $300 (still within 1 year warranty!!).
I refused to repair, still need to pay them $45 for return the phone to me. Worst is, i sent my phone to them in Feb, till now i haven't received my broken phone yet!!i should file my dispute on the first time it was broken :(

Not a great discount, given it was available about 10 months ago for 660 odd.
I have the S8. If you are upgrading from S7 edge, I would recommend the S8+. S8 screen is smaller than S7 edge, and the battery is lower capacity too.

That's just a general thing with all grey imports. Never expect to make a warranty claim and you'll be fine.
i've got my last 2 samsung phones from kogan 'grey imports' never had an issue so haven't need to make a warranty claim "yet" touch wood
Four years ago, I had to make a warranty claim for a sony phone with kogan which got rejected even though it was clearly manufacturer error. I have avoided grey imports since, but if the price is low enough I would probs buy again.
