Thanks Jim. It's been years since I've had this so lets see how it goes.

    she only chews baccy

    • They'd need teeth to use this product, right?

  • My mum doesn't jerky.

  • Hey Jim, is there any difference in the dryness or thickness of the biltong vs jerky? Or it is just that the jerky is cut up pieces of biltong?

      Hi there,
Yes there is a difference between jerky and biltong. They are both made using topside steaks however biltong is sliced thicker before drying and comes out with a higher moisture content than jerky - resulting in a softer product to chew. Jerky is all cut up into chewy bite sized pieces and our biltong comes in either large slabs that you can cut yourself, or in thin slices that make it very easy to eat!

    Best jerky in Australia imo

  • How do we purchase the 1kg? I can't seem to find it on the site sorry.

    • Oops sorry. I thought variety of flavours meant we could mix and match.

      • Hi there,
We do have "buying in bulk" discounts that allow you to get 1kg in a mix and match style (12 x 85g = 1kg and you can have this for $96 vs $90 for a 1kg bag of one flavour. This is available online except for when other promotions are running.) Therefore this offer is on hold while the Mother's Day promotion runs.

  • My mum is 83 years old , any product recommended for that age ?

    • Maybe the same preservatives they use in the jerky?

      Sorry…

    • Hi,

Sorry I hadn't seen your comment earlier. Beef Biltong is highly recommended as it is the same meat and spice, however a softer version to chew. We find this is preferred by people that don't enjoy the tough chew of our beef jerky!

      I hope this helps!

  • By the way just finished a 6 pack sampler of Jim's jerky - good texture, appropriate dryness, good flavours. Better than Geronimo by a long shot.

My fav is honey soy, and I didn't dislike any flavour in particular.

    Highly recommend at this price.
