Great question, We do this differently and have the best $ rate everyday all year round for the Plantation shutters as this is the only one that is priced at per square meter.
Is there an option to DIY the roller shutters?

Can anyone (independent) comment on the quality of their blinds?

You can check the other sale we had with some people saying they bought also on product review and Facebook.
Thanks. Product Review has you at 4.9 out of 5, which is either really good or a little suspicious. But the other reviews on OzB lean towards the former.
I understand, but you cant do fake reviews as they ban you instantly.
We would actually have over a thousand if we could get the customers to leave feedback. The reality is more people will leave negative feedback instantly then positive. And we can not write the reviews ourselves as we would get banned.
Facebook have real people identity for you as well.

I can vouch for the quality of the blinds and the quality of the communication from Pierre / Matt.
We did have a not great experience with the couriers but we got a good explanation that made sense.
I too can vouch for the quality of the blinds I bought, 1 blind the first time and 2 blinds the second time. Very good with communication as well.

I get it but there are times when it doesn't make sense. When the majority of your stock is custom sizes, then saying "Drop Blind in Charcoal 80% with siver chain 2000 wide x 1400 drop, was $200 now $150" doesn't really add value, IMO

I'm measuring up for an order. Do you have the same deal where if we place the order before Sunday but are unsure of colours, we can ger some samples and finalise the order after?
