Free 28 Day Health and Fitness Challenge for Men (after $100 Refundable Deposit) @ Summit Performance

27

EDIT: It seems the ozbargain community is a little skeptical of the original offer being a money grab! So i'd like to invite 5 ozbargain-ers to try out the 28 day challenge for free. Only condition is you post a review (positive or negative) on how you found the challenge at the end in the forums.

Hi Ozbargain,

After successfully launching our face to face lifestyle transformation we are taking our 28 day challenge online and want to give the program away for FREE so we can build case studies and testimonials of how great the program is! However this isn't just a workout on a piece of paper to download, The challenge is very interactive and designed to keep you accountable over the 28 days to make sure you stay on track and get results you want. Expect a phone call if you stop logging sessions or making accountability check ins!

As such we have limited places and only want people who are COMMITTED to making a change. We want to change as many lives as possible, but we don't want 1000 people who only participate because its free because at the end of the challenge you will only do 1 or 2 sessions and nothing changes! You need to want to make a change in order to get results- this isn't a quick fix based on supplements or crazy diets. Just rebuilding your lifestyle to incorporate exercise and nutrition in a way that is sustainable long term.

To secure a position, everyone puts down an $100 accountability deposit which is refundable at completion based on:

  • 3 home training sessions per week (logged on our training app)
  • Complete our online lifestyle course
  • Complete a 5 minute recorded check out interview sharing your experiences

Over the 28 days you receive:

  • 3 workouts to complete weekly either through a bodyweight routine at home or via a workout at the gym.
  • Nutrition support
  • Mindset coaching
  • Accountability from everyone else completing the program via check in tasks

The page on our website has some testimonials of men that have already completed the challenge and the results they've gotten.

Not free if it comes with caveats in my opinion.

  • +2

Free however accountability deposit taken if you decide to breathe

  • +1

If there is any chance of losing the deposit, then it's not free. Pretty straightforward maths; if you have a 10% chance of failure, then the course effectively costs $10.

    • Yes you can take that perspective. However we have tried to be very transparent and the barrier is quite low so as long as you are committed to do 3 x 30 minute home workouts, plus watch the video series online you have effectively done all you require.

Up to each person to make a judgement on whether they can commit to this before hand. If you can't commit to that then it's probably not something to participate in. At the end of the day anyone can go to watch a workout on youtube, another website etc and get decent results but the lack of accountability is what has stopped people from achieving results in the past, so another workout given away without any accountability won't change that.

      • It looks like a good deal if you're looking for something like that. But I'm not commenting on the deal; just the fact that it's not free, even though it said it's free.

And later… when someone post huge deal discount on KFC and McD, most participants will fails…

Nothing screams bargain quite like "if you give me 100 dollars now, I'll give you 100 dollars later"

    No deal.

    Not appropriate for OzBargain.

  • +1

Could get this off youtube for free.

    • +2

You are 100% correct. You can learn anything you like of youtube these days. But people are still overweight? This program is designed to offer accountability you don't otherwise get. And it become free once you do the work. But on reflection ozbargain isn't the type of community interested in this - If it isn't $0 from the start then people are not interested.

Dam pyramid schemes have changed recently. Get this *** out of here

  • This is not free where you ask participants for the following as consideration:

… an $100 accountability deposit which is refundable at completion based on:

Complet[ion of] our online lifestyle course
Complet[ion of] a 5 minute recorded check out interview sharing your experiences.

Maybe you could mark this as a magic trick where participants lose weight in the form of their money instead.

In all seriousness @talbot777, your service sounds promising however consider reworking your sign up conditions to be more realistic if you want OzBargain members to be willing to trial your service.

      @WizardofOZ

Sure. I'm Happy to take 5 people from Ozbargin who can participate for FREE (no deposit) on the condition they share their experience on the forums (Positive or Negative) at the end of the 28 Days.

      • @talbot777

That's awesome, I think you'd get some takers for that offer. Might be worth trying those people out first then, based on your experience with them, consider posting another deal up similarly in the future.

        Wishing you all the best.

        well done rep.

This all the hate ozb was giving you, you still managed to provide an offer and stay positive.

If only every new rep that posted on Ozb was like this.

Thanks for the nice words! I can see how the Ozbargain world are very skeptical but I stand by our program! Hopefully we can get some ozbargainers to test and report back!

  • +1

As you may have seen above I'm offering 5 spots to ozbargainers without the accountability deposit under the condition you are happy to report back to the forums with your feedback at the end of the 28 days.
