These are not accurate and cheaply made!

FWIW, I have one and can’t fault it. Maybe you have a dud unit.

these are for up to 180kg

I think we had mixing reviews of this product, but the for sake of $9, it's pretty good, can't complain,

What about you show us some bargain-priced scales? I am needing one too….

    • +1

Had 2 x both rubbish both 9$ from prev deals both from HN. I am not the only one who dislikes this product. But, by all means spend your 9$, however for me, it was wasted money and returned product. I am however under 80kg, so maybe its more accurate for those greater than 80kg, just a guess. As you were.

      • Did you try on different floors.. carpet vs hard floor.. I have noticed the reading differs depending on the case. I had to find the correct flat surface.

      Someone's in denial…

  • +2

Not very accurate. Step on it, look at weight, step down. Wait a minute and do the same and there is always noticeable difference.

Just tested mine. Exactly the same each time :)

If you this so many times you might actually lose weight

Don't fart in between measurements :-P

I stepped on mine, and it reads "We've Updated our Privacy Policy".

      • Are you sure a "firm"ware update is not required?

    • May not be the issue, but make sure the feet aren't in the grout of the tiles. I had the same issue and I realised it was when it had shifted slightly and the small gap in the grout threw the results out.

    • Every time I use mine, I get an email a few minutes later saying "Take another look".

If I buy two, can it weigh 360kg?

    • +1

      Yes.

    • +1

Yes put one leg on each

      • +3

Well, you'd have to be lowered down, each foot hitting the scales at the same time. Otherwise you'd be exerting the full 360kg on one set before you can get your other foot on the second set of scales.

    • Two's also good for testing weight transfer in a golf swing.

What happens if you're over 180KG? Asking for a friend

    • you need another one, one leg each…lol

    • Instant death by electrocution.

    • +1

Let me guess, the friend also does not have a health insurance? :)

Thank you! I was in the market for bathroom scales, perfect timing.

  • I've noticed that bathroom scales rarely display their own weight. A bit embarrassed, are they?

  • Check the reviews on the website this scale is atrocious.

Inaccurate readings, glass shattering, unstable footings.

    Avoid, pass.

I have to weigh up whether I need these…
