that is correct, it is not possible to have a 4 year SSL now from a trusted Certificate Authority, EV SSLs are limited to 2 years and may be changing to 1 year soon.
They’re only allowed to issue 2 year certificates now. So I wonder if they automatically renew it after 2 years.
