    I'm trying to understand Shipster. Says free shipping, but not understanding how. Are they a freight forwarder? It ships to Shipster for free, and then Shipster ships to your address for free?

      Australia Post effectively trying to launch a Amazon Prime style subscription for local merchants.
      Merchants are in love with the idea but from what i've heard they're really suffering when it comes to consumer take up.
      This is the second promotion they've offered, the first big one was for early adopters, they ended up giving them all 12 month subscriptions for free.

      No it doesn't unfortunately. It only works from merchants own websites. The problem us eBay don't have any agreement with Australia Post to get access to Shipster database. And since they launched Shipster/Prime like deal, don't see that happening either.

    The data was captured by Cotton On and is being sent to Australia Post. Australia post is just finalising the subscription email and will send it in a few days. Today being Friday, will most probably be start of next week.

    The only other information I know is anyone who is an existing Shipster member, who signed up using the Cotton On offer will be automatically upgraded.

    I received this email in reply to my query to Shipster:

    "As advised when you signed up for the promo on the Cotton On website it would be several days (from the time the promotion finished) before the Shispter subscriptions would become active.

    There is quite a bit of technical work that needs to be done to upload and activate all the people who have opted into this promotion.

    We are hoping to have the "Welcome to Shipster " email go out by close of business today advising all that there free Shispter subscription is now active.

    Once you receive the welcome email you will be able to access the free Shispter shipping at our participating retailers.

      Technical work? Surely they already would have a process in place to manage the data from the signup process. Shouldn't make a difference if it was 10 people that signed up or 10,000.

    I woke up to an email from Cotton On promoting free shipping until Monday. I don't want free shipping until Monday. I want my free shipster shipping until June 2019.
