    • I once got 20% off sitewide. Got myself a soldering iron

  • Hmm there was nothing under the related deals tab until just now.

  • What does fixed price entail?
    Buy it now only?
No auction and no make offer?

    • Correct. Only “Buy It Now” items.

      • -1

Really this won't work for make an offer?

        If so worst deal ever!

      • I don't see anything to do with "Buy It Now" only items in the t&c's
        4. ‘Eligible Products’ means all brand new, fixed price items listed on eBay.com.au excluding;

        • Isn't buy now the same as fixed price?

I was hoping to do a 'make an offer' too and use the code but it seems it can't be done

      • If that is the case, then this deal is not as good as the regular 10% off with fewer restrictions for some people.

        • -1

Be careful i got 3 neg votes for the same type of comment :)

  • So who get the extra 1% kickback, 10% is pretty much weekly.

  • Hmm "We can't apply this code until you reach the minimum order total."

    • minimum spend is $100 to use the coupon

  • Hmm. This plus goodguys $100 cashback on an S9 would have been interesting, but there is no S9 on the good guys store.

  • Awesome, thanks TA! Saved $125

Thanks TA! Managed to pick up the MX500 1TB ssd for $274.97!

  • +1

THANKS TA! I got the Xiaomi laser projector and saved $250!

    • From which seller? Link?

    • Hmmm…. not a fan of short throws due to the screen reflection/roof glow problem.
Does Xiaomi make a regular laser projector which isn't short throw?

Still thinking about a Optoma 4k projector which is really good for value.

  • +1

    thanks @TA,
I got the LG 34UM69G-B for $449.11 here
    Only one more left guys.

    • not enough pixels

      • unless you want to pay more than double i.e. 800-1300, you wont get anything thats 3440x1440 over 60hz on an IPS. This is an interim measure until LG releases their nano ips 3440x1440 34" ultrawide with G-Sync, which i anticipate will cost like $1500…

        • Yeah. That's worth it. 1080p on a 34" is terrible.

34" 1440p panels have been out for years.

        • +1

@smuggler: the LG 34UM69G is approximately the same vertical height as a standard 24" monitor (+/- 1cm), and the same horizontal width as 1.5x standard 24" monitor, so unless you mean 1920x1080 24" is also "terrible", i think your opinion is a little misinformed..typically people who say as you do, are still thinking 34" as a 16:9 ratio. This is 21:9, which is not the same.

and yes 3440x1440 panels have been out for ages, but not IPS. The ones that are IPS are using LG panels anyway, so they're all around the 1000+ mark.

        • -2

          @nairdajun:

I think you're just going for the cheapest option.

A 34" screen should have at least 3440x1440. Anything less is just terrible and pixelated.

24" is also "terrible", i think your opinion is a little misinformed..

          A 24" screen is also 10 inches smaller. >.>

        • +1

@smuggler: If i was going for the cheapest option, there are plenty that are around the 350 mark.

"A 24" screen is also 10" smaller" < that pretty much shows that you are still thinking of a 16:9 ratio.

My dell 24" ultrasharp is 22"Wx14"H
          1920/22 = 87.27
          1080/14 = 77.14
          LG 34UM69G
          2560/32.6 = 78.52
          1080/14.6 = 73.97
This is not accounting for my existing ultrasharp having a much thicker bezel than the LG. So as you can see, pixel density is roughly the same (vertical size is almost the same). If anything i am losing a total of about 56 pixels vertically. So if you had these two monitors side by side, they would be almost negligible in terms of sharpness, unless you can tell me you can count 90 pixels in an inch. This is not the same as compared to a 27" 16:9 monitor at 1080p which has pixel density of below 62.

If you're going to do the math do it properly..

        • @nairdajun: Correction, its more like 46 pixels vertically

    • I'm after this exact monitor. Will grab one from a different seller.

      • i was watching them. Unfortunately computer alliance was already out of stock, otherwise they would have had it for about $5 less due to free postage. Otherwise if you are in melbourne you might as well get it from scorptec or msy as the normal price is about 499.

  • Just saved $97.
    Thanks TightArse!!!

  • Couldn’t think of anything to buy but knew that I had to, so I bought something that can last indefinitely - BOOZE. 3 bottles of Laphroaig quarter cask single malt from Nicks wine merchants, cheapest by far, $213.57 delivered free for purchases > $200.

  • Thanks, mangs.

You saved AU $16.08 on this purchase

WOW! This voucher worked on SECONDHAND items that were in my cart from yesterday. These were not brand new items won on a fixed price. They were both won on an auction. Can't guarantee that it will work for secondhand auction items you buy today, but it might be worth a shot for some. Thanks TA.

    • As I replied to another comment elsewhere…

      From the T&Cs:

"11. Without limiting other remedies and in addition to eBay’s rights under the User Agreement, eBay reserves the right to: disallow or reverse a discount,…"

So you probably shouldn't go drawing attention to it!

  • more scuba gear and a hurting credit card haha .. got a good saving, however it became less after paypals ridiculously high currency conversion exchange rate .. all in all a happy chappy this end

    • +1

Did you turn off their silly currency conversion rate and choose to convert with your card provider? (Assuming you have 28 Degrees or Bankwest Zero)

  • Thanks TA, got something ive been waiting for a while for, cheers.

  • Managed to use the code, great, pity I could only use 15 x $100 ebay cards, for further discount

    win win

    • Only 15? Why is that?

      • No idea.

        Tried two different accounts.
One with purchases using gift cards
        One without both the same.

Admittedly these gift cards are dangerously confusing.

Eg I apply the card. But sometimes the full balance isn't applied
Eg. I click. On left over balance. And it disappears as used but the total owing doesn't increase.

Eg. I will apply a card and then cancel the transaction and the card balance becomes zero.

        I wouldn't have. A clue if I've lost a card or two

        • Damn, I thought there was a $2500 limit on using them, not $1500! I've never tried a transaction that big so have no idea :(

        • @MathNerd:

if Irecall correctly the T&Cs say max 8 cards per transaction,

and that might include the discount code as well

but I have used up to 10 on multiple transactions before

        • Just keep in mind that if you need to get a refund, that it will put back on the gc. So write those gc numbers down somewhere. Also, once you've used a gc, you can only use the remaining balance on the same eBay account.

        • @CVonC:

          yeah tahts a good point

however I actually got a refund recently for $50, and it went back on to avaiable balance on hte account, and not the gift card,

hence , I dont know whats going on

        • @hellohello123:

What do you mean by "available balance on the account" though?

        • @CVonC:

as in, it didnt go back onto tghe card, when I check out , it appeared under coupons/vouchers

        • @hellohello123:

Ah yeah sometimes they refund as a voucher too which is even worse as you can no longer stack on a code.

Oh another thing I hate is you can't check the transactions that occurred on in the gc, only the remaining balance. Plus the balance checker service becomes unavailable after checking a few cards -_-

        • @CVonC:

seriously, this is the most stupidest system I have ever seen

unless iM doing it wrong, you cant check your left credit on ebay.com.au,
the gift card remaining balances are transferred to yoru account, thus zeroing your card

also, sometimes you put in saya $100 card,
but when you check the total,it has only applied a random amount

        • @hellohello123:

Yeah I don't think you can check the balance until you actually go through with a purchase using it and thus attaching it your account. And it should only zero the balance if the remaining cart amount is greater than the gc value. It shouldn't zero it if the remaining cart amount is less. Then you can check the remaining gc balance on the gc's used.

But yeah it's such a cumbersome system to get an extra 5-8% off.

        • @CVonC:

Are you sure about car amount being higher than card amount

For me regardless of value it seems to zero it if I touch it

        • @hellohello123:

Well I just got an S9+ using 9 gift cards and here was the break down:

          Gift cardx-1 Applied: AU $100.00
          Gift cardx-2 Applied: AU $100.00
          Gift cardx-3 Applied: AU $80.57
          Gift cardx-4 Applied: AU $78.28
          Gift cardx-5 Applied: AU $100.00
          Gift cardx-6 Applied: AU $100.00
          Gift cardx-7 Applied: AU $100.00
          Gift cardx-8 Applied: AU $100.00
          Gift cardx-9 Applied: AU $100.00
          VoucherPTAOZB Applied: AU $106.15

That's how it was listed after I applied them but I applied "4" second last and "3" last. They all have 0 balance now except for 3 which has a correct $19.43 after checking.

        • @CVonC:

Yeah that sounds similar to mine.
Not sure who the second last one is only partially applied.

          Super confusing

        • @hellohello123:

oh because that one was a previous giftcard that had $78.28 left on it.

    • I used the code twice today with giftcards

      $450 all on giftcards

The second purchase was $4000 and only let me use & 1500 on eBay cards.

I still think it will be a Max of $2500 on gift cards per day.

Thanks TA over $600 savings today

      • Definitely not 2.5k per day.
I was only allowed to use 1.5k on two Different accounts.

One had not made a purchase for a while. The other I had used gift cards a few weeks ago

  • So today I got 18.5% off. 11% + 7.5% off wish card. Got line 6 hd500x for cheap!!

    • We need mathnerd to confirm its actually 18.5%

      • +2

        It's actually 17.675% :)

        • +2

Thanks. That's what I came up with but don't have the confidence in my maths.

        • +2

          @TightBottom: Excellent!
          Say item is $100
Coupon brings it down to $89
Paying with 7.5% off GC being that down to $82.325

          That's a 17.675% discount :)

        • @TightBottom: That makes 3.68 of us!

    • How do you get additional 7.5% off wish card?

  • +1

Bought a couple of clothes through auction. Total cost of items AU $635.80, discount excluding postage is $69.93 which comes down to 11% off, including the items that I won from auctions! Looks like it works for auction items too. :)

Edit: D'oh… After the checkout the auction items weren't actually paid for and are still in the cart waiting to be paid… Got gypped. Although it looks to be glitched at the moment as my order also includes the auction items… To be continued?

Edit 2: Some of my non-action items didn't get ordered and came up with the error "This order was not successful. Order cost has not been included in the total amount. The seller hasn't received payment for this order yet". Say what?

    • Same happened to me. Order took long to process and payment was pending but eventually it went through

  • First transaction on ebay with CR and 11% went through perfectly.

Second one with CR and 11% discount throws errors when you hit 'buy', something wrong with URL. Not sure if I'm the only one but will try without CR and see how it goes.

  • LOoking for an 8TB (ironwolf?) drive. Better off with pamper? or bhphoto?

  • Is this code working for others?

  • Thank you!! I saved $29 :)

  • +1

Damn, i cant believe goodguys pricejack their price because of this deal

Looking for aircon fujitsu 2.5kwh now they listed as $899, yesterday was $749… shame on u GG

    https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/NEW-Fujitsu-SET-ASTG09KMCA-C2-5k…

    • Same. I was going to buy this. Think the $749 price was GG matching harvey normans weekend special.

Long time lurker, first time poster here.

I just wanted to thank TA for this offer - it has come in very handy.

I'm tired of seeing great % offers via eBay but prices being constantly jacked up just before offer commences.

Not this time - with 11% off IMO it's way better than those '20% off minus jack-up % = actually ~5% off' deals. ACCC really needs to stomp on this BS…

Anyways , again thank you. Much appreciated.

  • This is too good!

  • Wow will save $130 on Lego 75192 Millennium Falcon

    Thanks TA!

  • In need of a 15" laptop with decent i7 processor. Any thoughts as to whether or not upcoming 20% off sales will surpass this offer before EOFY?

  • any recommendation for 1440p monitor? va or ips dont matter.Prefer at least 27"
mix everyday use and casual gaming (FPS-fallout, crysis, farcry and MMORPG), have R9 380 4GB graphic card.
Budget around $500-$600 ish, i guess can stretch a bit with this 11% discount.
    Thanks.

Thanks TA…I've been mulling about getting some tool cabs for a while. SCA have their (not pro, but decent) Toolpro Neon cabinets at 50% off atm…this drops the price for a combo down to $666.60 (lucky for some?)…about as good as I've ever seen! Code works on these too.

  • Thanks TA, however, I went in pursuit of this to discover that my basket benefits from PAMPER20 code for 20% off!

  • +1

This is a very good deal but I'm still baffled as to why so many up votes etc.

It's 11% off when 10% off codes come by often

    • +5

      There's a couple of reasons

      • This code was created especially for OzBargain (which also lowers the chances of seller jacking up the prices)
      • Those 10% code are usually for targeted user.
      • When there is a 10% code, it's usually for selected categories/specific seller of items.
      • Great response

Kind of reminds me of the 18% site wide we had a few months ago

    • An Extra 1%

  • Thanks so much!! Got the Canon 70-200mm 2.8L IS II lens for the cheapest price I've seen in about 2 years. Australian Stock and warranty. Plus my cashback, plus 5x Flybuys points. I have finally gotten to a point in my photography career that I've racked up thousands in tax, so I just made a 5 year dream come true :D

    • from??

      • Digidirect.

Even though it's almost the same price direct from their website, the cashback and the Flybuys points tipped it comfortably over the edge :)
