        • @CVonC: just bought some from bkx3virgin.
          He's legit! 8% wish e-gift!

        • @cwongtech:

Yeah me too. Started off with 1x$100 for the moment but will definitely get more in the future! thanks @bkx3virgin.

        • @bkx3virgin:

how does it work? all gift cards? wish and ebay? all 8%?

        • @MathNerd:
          Thanks for the recommendation.

POTM isn't responding to enquiries. I guess he has too many customers now he doesn't need any more.

        • @brisdaz: That's alright, I think potm started the discounted WISH selling and others followed. bkx3virgin is a good source, I'm sure he'll accept new clients :)

        • +2

@MathNerd: I actually started it just before him (15 Sep 2016) but I was greedy and only offered 6% as opposed to 7%. Then he did it at 7% (27 Sep 2016) and I matched some time later lol

        • +1

@MathNerd: thanks. I have done 2 successful large transactions with bkx3virgin

    • I don't think you can earn the eBay cash back when paying with the eBay gift cards, but otherwise the rest of the process works.

      From CR T&C'S

      • Payment using any type of voucher or eBay credit may result in your purchase being ineligible to earn rewards.

      • May need TA to confirm on that one.
        7% vs 1%

        • where can i get 7 percent off. I will buy asap for 400 worth.

        • +2

@kisshell9: I can vouch for Mathnerd. Bought me $500 the other day. He was really nice about it too.

        • +1

          @kisshell9:
Buy Woolies egift cards from private seller (they subsidize the 2%, its a way for them to buy credit card points essentially).
Then go to woolies, use egift cards to pay for ebay gift cards.
Gift cards can be used ontop of these promos :)

        • @cwongtech: where can i find private seller.Nees to buy 450 worth of wollies

        • @cwongtech:

Can you use woolies egift cards to buy ebay egift cards??

I thought originally you can't use their gift cards to buy another gift cards. :S

Anyone has got any ebay gift cards at the moment? I would buy $400 worth asap.

        • @eric881104: how long does it take for the egift card to arrive in email? hope I get it by tmrw. juat got it from cashrewards

        • @eric881104:

I thought originally you can't use their gift cards to buy another gift cards. :S

From what I hear, you can't buy WISH physical with egift anymore.
The only advantage of doing that was:
          - Extend expiry date (they've removed expiry dates now)
          - Physical WISH cards are accepted at ALL Caltex-Woolworths branded petrol stations, where as eGift is only accepted at fully owned Woolworths-caltex stations (These have the 8c offer, 4c fuel voucher + spend in-store to get extra 4c)

I can still buy other gift cards with my woolies egift. I did it yesterday.

  • here we go, nice ! finally!

  • Lordy lord! Surely no price jacks with this one. Excellent offer, where would ozb be without TA!

  • +2

It's great having a day to lube up the ebay cart, thanks TA!

    • You've received your free samples already?!
      :p

  • Thanks TA!

  • Awesome

  • Happy day

  • Thanks TA!

  • Fantastic effort TA. Well done and thank you.

  • Thanks OP! Any idea of manufactured spending to use this deal?

  • Cheers TA!

  • +4

i’m honestly running out of things i really wanna buy .. lol

  • -1

I'm a bit confused by fixed price. I've never bought anything where the price was changing. Can you give any examples?

Also, will office works close their shop?

    • +1

Fixed Price refers to all Buy It Now listings, auctions are excluded in this sale.

      • +1

        What about best offers?

        • +1

          I was wondering the same.

Can anyone clarify if offers are excluded?

  • +1

anyone see a good price on a mavic air?

    • Ive Pm'd You we have something in the works for tommrow which might work for you and anyone else looking for a mavic air

      • Can you PM me too please? :) I am looking to buy a Mavic Air with the fly more combo.

      • What did you PM him to get into the penalty box??

  • I will buy an iPhone X through this, any reputable seller/deal suggestions?

  • +5

It's a shame real estate is excluded. 11% off would be nice.

    • +5

Real estate is already 11% off in Sydney this year site wide

  • and what about the ongoing 20% offer ( pamper20)? are both applicable? I am planning to buy a macbook air from vaya shop? Bargainers please suggest. Would this be on top of that 20% or its separate?

    • separate

    • Can only apply one coupon at a time.

      • -2

Then why people are excited about 12% when there is already a 20% ( pamper20)…please shed a light.

        • +4

Because Pamper20 is only for selected sellers. 11% is for new items, buy it now sitewide.

        • pamper20 is for certain stores only. Store-specific promotions usually are not that competitive in pricing.

This one is SITEWIDE, i.e. not limited to any specific ebay stores

    • Beat me to it.

In the market for a 1080ti pc.

I love this deal but I don't think it will help me..

Hopefully I can score a 55 inch 4k hdr TV though or just a good one for pc monitor usage.

    In before price jacking :-P

  • Assuming JW don't pricejack, you should be able to use this code to get an HTC Vive for $782.31 delivered, which seems to be somewhat close to the historic low I think?

  • +Rep

  • Great work TA. Time for some price jacking!

    • -1

If you're encountering price jacking then you're not a savvy shopper.

I normally shop at stores who let you make an offer or discount their own listings regularly.

      • +1

There is a distinct difference between noticing/spotting price jacking vs buying items which has its prices jacked. I beg to differ to your comment, as a savvy shopper will be the ones who will have an awareness of the pricing history and/or price jacking attempts. Your username doesn’t check out, as it should be ‘non-clear’. 😬

        • +2

I think Not Clear sounds better.

  • Wow! Impressive

  • Hi TA, just curious if Ebay will have Megasales again this year? Thank you

    • not a rep lol

  • +4

Don't get excited about ebay sales. The prices are a lot higher on ebay than on their non-ebay site. You might think you scored a bargain, but you end up paying more. Just look at Huawei Mate 10:

    $775 on eGlobal ebay. After 11% off it's $689.75

    $637 on their non-ebay site

That's how they protect their sales and make money.

    • +20

eGlobal is part of the 20% off eBay code with PAMPER20, that is why it's higher. If you noticed it's actually $620 with PAMPER20.

Also you have to add shipping on their website so it's actually min $662. So you're saving $42 on eBay + getting a 16gb card included.

  • Good timing! I just bought the Sony A7iii. Looking for a lense now. Any recommendations?

    • +1

      Sony zeiss 55mm f1.8
Sony 85mm f1.8, almost no difference to batis version, a lot cheaper as well
They're the value for money lenses

      35mm f2.8 is alright too

    • 24-105/4
      28/2
      55/18
      85/1.8

    • Depends what you want it for.
I can speak to the 100-400mm G Master and the 35mm f1.4 Zeiss.
Both fantastic lenses. The 100-400mm is incredible.
The 35mm 1.4 Zeiss is equally as good however, you can find similar lenses for a lot less money if you're willing to go third party.

      • 55/1.8 is raved about because of the sharpness, but I hate the focal length and it rarely gets used (except for portraits).

35/2.8 is a great small compact lens, but 16-35/f4 is regularly used by me when travelling.

I also have the 90/2.8 which has been very rarely used.

    • Cheers, thanks for the recommendations guys! I have still have my canon 6d which i'm looking to get rid of. Hoping to get the MC-11 to use the canon glasses (70-200 and the 24-70 f4) in the mean time. But I am keen on getting the 85mm f1.8 and the 28mm f2. Hope to get good deals today!

  • This is why I love oz bargain! Feeling special now aha! Thanks TA, great job.

    • -3

Sorry to spoil your pride, you are not special because this is not a targeted deal ;p

  • Nice work boss!

HDHomeRun CONNECT (2 tuners) should be $133.50 with express delivery:

    https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/SiliconDust-HDHomeRun-CONNECT/28…

    …and the Quatro (4 tuners) $266 delivered:

    https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/HDHomeRun-CONNECT-QUATRO-AU-STOC…

    • Which is better - two twin-tuners or one quad-tuner at twice the price?

      • I guess a single Quatro would be a little easier to set up and manage, but having two Connects would give you more flexibility to be able to lend one to a friend or take it to a second house, and if one broke, you would still have one to use whilst the first was being repaired.

  • -1

825 upvotes and increasing! Is that a record?

    • I think I saw one that was at like 1500 or more, so would have to beat that to win the record holder of most votes….

      • +1

Think the record was when there was 15% off

  • +5

Don't forget to activate your flybuys for 5x points
    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/383017

Could be worth putting this at the top TA

    • Received message from TA that eBay might not honour both the 5x FB points and the 1% CR cashback. So don't be surprised if you haven't received the CR cashback if you've already taken up the 5xFB points offer.

  • Great work!

  • Thanks TA! I think you might break another record. 😆

    • I doubt it. Needs 20% off site-wide eBay AU to break it.

      • I think he's doing well, he's about to surpass the McFlurry deal as of this timestamp.

    • Wow, you only needed to beat 23 votes in 2007…

  • How do you check if an item you're interested in is excluded under exclusion 88433?

  • ohh no. I will be on a flight from 11am for 14hrs. :(

    • +1

Did you get a flex fare?

      • I wish!

    • lol rip gg

  • Do you receive a commission, TA? If so, you'll be rolling in it

    • +6
    • Never ever ask this question

      • +3

Why? It's perfectly fair. There is nothing stopping someone on an internet forum from getting kickbacks.

Fair enough that TA is honest and transparent, but it is the internet and not everyone is. Doesn't hurt to ask…

        • In his current position, if like other corporate jobs, his yearly bonus would depend on how much cashflow he brings back to Cashrewards.

        • +2

I agree 55, it should be encouraged to ask this question and it doesn't matter where or to whom.

I'm not too sure why there are so many sensitive ego's around. It actually should be seen as healthy and positive discussion, especially on a site such as OzBargain.

        • Looked who asked the question in TA's link. I got flamed but in hindsight my question was poorly worded.

  • +3

Oy tightarse go over to amazon AU and see if you can get a rally going between them and eBay, you know you want to!

  • Are you able to add a bunch of lower value items together to your cart that add over $100 and then use the code? Or does each item individually have to be over $100?

Got a bunch of lower priced things on my watch list I'd buy if this is possible.

    • Yes you can, as long as the cart is minimum $100 in total.

    • The items in your cart also need to be charged under the same currency too.

  • over 1000+ votes! I didn't want to vote as now the number is 1024 :)

  • +1

    11% off between 11am to 11pm on the 11th

    11:11, make a wish!

    • Wish!

  • TA should get affliated

  • I'm quite new to the OzB community, what would be the best purchases to make here?
