          yeap!

Australia is already shit in terms of prices..

Thanks to the internet we were able to get good prices and deals instead of Harvey norman and other local store rip off prices..

Now the stupid Liberal government are now forcing us back to buying overpriced goods at local store or pay gst for all overseas items
which will now add up in costs..

All the Liberals are interested in is to support Big businesses, the lobby donors, and the banks..

And now Amazon US is block us from cheap goods and more items on their USA store.

Sad times for most australian shoppers.

        • Will there still be trs available.

        • Does the new GST apply on 1st of July on everything that comes into Australia or when sent from overseas from the 1st of July onwards? I got a few things I bought recently that may or may not make it before the 1st.

  • 10% is fine, but include gift cards.

  • Hope to find some AU stock deal on Samsung S9

    • no hope so far

      Thanks for letting us know

I tried buying Ebay cards with CR/Woolies 5% yesterday and the PINPAD said invalid item when trying to pay with the egiftcard, Has woolies caught on?
Any one purchase in the last 24hours?

I've bought over $5k previously no issues

    • I thought it's been like that for a while? I have managed to buy eBay gift cards using Wish gift cards before, but I had a whole bunch of other stuff and I put the eBay Gift card through first, so by the time I got to pay for the stuff, I think the checkout kid forgot about it.

      • Normally if the operator says its fine the i havent had any issues, Had a few say you cant buy giftcards with giftcards. But this is different and wonder if they are stopping giftcard/giftcards purchases automatically.

It failed at the PINPAD not allowing the transaction (invalid item)

Sigh, whats the deal with the "Brand New" thing, It means we won't be able to do any deals on the refurb gear.

  • Can you add multiple items to add up over the min spend?

    • +3

      Yes, of course.

You have to checkout with all the items in your cart.

  • Sigh still donno what to buy…

    • first world problems…

  • Wow, thanks TA. We're rife with discount codes!

  • +3

I don't need anything badly. Will wait for 15%. And if it doesn't happen, that's cool, such is life

  • +1

My poor savings… Wait, what savings? ¯_(ツ)_/¯

    • +4

      You dropped this \

  • Any good headphone deals? <$150

  • just maybe if we dont buy anything from yesterday 11% promotion and todays 10% promotion…just maybe…maybe we will get a 18% or 20% storewide for 24hrs…

NO I DONT WANT TO WAKE UP TO REALITY

  • Will there be a repeat of yesterday where a single item is required to be at least $75 to meet the coupon requirements?

Or can we buy multiple items that'll bring the total to over $75 and apply the coupon?

  • Just gonna say thanks ahead of time for tomorrow's 9% off as well

  • +4

I'm holding out for 20% and if that doesn't come before 30/6 I'm just not going to buy

  • Thanks TA.
    Here we go again.
    Let the mass jacking begin.
    No Computer Alliance, No Deal.
Got my cart lubed up ready for 12pm.
Code should be JACK20 or something about Amazon.

    • Did we start eBay bingo? No way we're gonna win with this being sitewide. That means Computer Alliance is included !!

      • I'm trying to start it. I've seen the jacking comments on site-wide sales in the past so I figured why not?

  • +3

So I could not think of anything I needed yesterday. Today something broke on my car so I had to order it and now I see tomorrow there is another discount - DAMMIT

    • Here's a +1 with my condolences :(

  • +1

With eofy getting so close I'm hanging out for at least a 15%'er.
I'm pretty sure there was a couple last year at the time.

  • is our good friend Jack coming for this one?

  • This is better than yesterday's. I couldn't find $100 of items to buy to even be eligible for that one. $75 is slightly more reasonable. Hmm.

  • Can anyone find a reasonable price on a pair of Sonos one’s? Can’t find anything cheaper than $340 for one…

  • Guys

    What it mean Fixed Price?

    • +2

      Price is fixed.

    • Not auctions.

    • Most ebay sellers fix their prices for these sales in respect of Harvey Normans screw the customer policy.

  • Cmon TA, be an ultimate legend and give us the 15% store wide, so we can all put up your statues here now :)

  • What if it is a fixed price item with make offer function? Will it work if seller accepts offer?

    • Read previous comment in this thread.

  • lol office works

    So no Bidding

    why the differentiation ?

  • Any recommendations for good wool blend socks? My top two choices (to try) are darn tough vermont and icebreaker, but they aren't available in the style/colour/size I want on ebay.

  • Come on….My delivery from the 11% isn't even shipped yet and now another promotion.

Even my austpost mailman knows I am an ozbargainer now from knowing from all these deliveries.

  • %$%$# officeworks excluded

  • has anyone used this code or the pTAOZB, to purchase an overseas item through ebay.com.au?

    • yes

  • Did anyone else notice that the PTAOZB code worked with used items? I did't actually checkout but it applied to cart.
Hope its the same for this.

As I replied to another comment elsewhere…

      From the T&Cs:

"11. Without limiting other remedies and in addition to eBay’s rights under the User Agreement, eBay reserves the right to: disallow or reverse a discount,…"

So you probably shouldn't go drawing attention to it!

      • True, too bad I can't remove or edit the comment.

  • I'm interested in Motorola G6 Plus:

But no info about LTE network tho if it has b26(700) for LTE as well. Anyone got some ideas? Thanks

  • Is it live for anyone else yet?

    • Yeah it is now

      • +1

Thanks! tried a few times, must of been a bit behind.

Saved $300 on a laptop, happy days.

  • Wallet is still drained from the last 11% sale :(

  • Any one else getting this?

Looks like this code isn't ready yet. Please try again later.

    It's for this item:
    https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/New-Sealed-Factory-Unlocked-GOOG…

    • it's not working for me either
This code can't be applied to your order.

edit: it excludes Fantastic Furniture wth

    • I was able to use the code on an overseas / international item through ebay.com.au about 10 minutes ago.

    • I spoke to ebay on the phone and i tried it again and it went through all okay. Even though I tried it multiple times. Give it another go if it didn't work for you.

      • I was trying to buy something from Fantastic Furniture. Unfortunately that and Officeworks are excluded

  • Mobilcity/Allphones is dodgy

    For LG G7 Thinq

I see allphones has it price jacked to $1218.99 so after pamper20 code is $975.19

So TA's 10% code works on Mobilcity for the same item for $1,075.00, after 10% discount is $967.50

So why can't allphones do $1,075 same as mobilcity then get pamper20 code to be $860. I would buy at this price straightaway.

The prices on mobilcity and allphones don't match

  • Do you know if this works on Best Offer sales?

  • Is there a way to know (without asking the seller) which sellers provide us with receipt (with australian gst for TRS)?
It has been discussed here before, that of they claim to have aussie stock, they often dont.

  • CODE seems like can be used with USED items as well. I just did :D

      • Ebay even sent me an email asking to check out an used item with this code to have 10% off. What I meant this code is actually not just for new items.

  • Howcome it only works twice then i am not allowed to use it anymore?

  • Any good deals on Samsung Galaxy S7

  • Is anyone else getting this error message:

'We can't apply this code until you reach the minimum order total'

    ?

    • Is your order $75 or more excluding postage?

    • Are you purchasing $75 or more as the code requires a $75 minimum purchase limit.

    • Yes. Getting that same message now.
Was working before for the same item.

    • I got the same msg, very annoying. Try on 2 ebay accounts still had same issue. The total is well over $75.

  • Thanks OP! Scored a Pixel 2 XL for $810 brand new

  • Anyone notice that it doesn't seem possible to pay with PayPal and have a foreign currency (eg USD) billed straight to your card any longer? The checkout lacked the option that's normally there and didn't show a currency conversion was taking place (eg showing the exchange rate). The amount was supposed to be $200 USD, which was shown, but the PayPal transaction went through and auto-converted, resulting in a crappy exchange rate rather than my 28 degrees card.

Is this a new 'feature'? Can't find a reference online about it.

    • +1

Ahh, it's very well hidden. There might be an easier way to get to the setting, if anyone knows, do post.

      • Login to PayPal.
      • Click on Settings (the gear icon at the top right)
      • Click on Payments
      • Click on Manage Automatic Payments
      • Click on the Pre-approved payments page link at the bottom left
      • Click on "Set Available Funding Sources" at the top right

You can then set the conversion options for each of your credit cards.

  • I went to buy an item that has Freight in the shipping so I "thought" great 10% off I pressed the buy it now and proceed to checkout and put the PICKY10 code in and and that's where the checkout states "error please contact seller for postage" but when you do that the coupon code price disappears :/

it seems you can't send an invoice requesting a postage price on a buy it now even though you have to commit to buying the said item which is ridiculous.

    /rant

    • Yeah I think it's stupid. "Hey commit to buying an item without knowing the shipping price"

I think it's to try make the seller have set pricing for shipping. Ie free, No buyer likes paying for shipping.

Much harder to add discounts aswell (during the offer period) but it does allow you to once the shipping is set by the seller.
