Was doing my daily points and noticed 12 months of Xbox Live Gold has dropped to 24,000 points, down from 30,000. It will last till the 15th of July.
You will need to be signed into your rewards account to see this.

Downside is that it seems other rewards have gone up. I was going for a $25 Microsoft store gift card for 18,000 points but it has now risen to 25,050. Same goes for the Xbox store gift cards.

    $5 Xbox codes are still the same though (which are the same as Microsoft store dollars).

      New to all this:
      24,000 points for Xbox Live Gold (~$60) works out to be 400points per dollar.
      3,600 points for $5 xbox codes works out to be 720points per dollar.

      So better to spend on Xbox Live Gold (unless you are fully loaded on Xbox Live Gold, or just dont want it)?

      I'm probably wrong in saying this but it seems/feels like they change the points/rewards every few weeks. They did have 12 months of Xbox Gamer Pass for 28,000 points but got rid of that pretty quickly and now only have up to 3 months available.

          On average I get 4 a month. This month I got one on the 7th and 13th. I only look at them when I can be bothered though as I can still get the points months on from when I receive them.

    Gold just expired earlier last month. Did not renew and was hoping to get to 29000 points from 27000 soon. No need to wait anymore! Thanks OP!

      What I do is;
      1. Go to Bing on Chrome and log into your Microsoft account. Once logged in, on Bing there should be a medal. Click on the medal and that will confirm you are logged in.
      2. Click the 3 vertical dots which are underneath the x at the top of the broswer window and then go to "More Tools" then "Developer Tools". Clicking that should change the look of your browser for that tab.
      3. Click in the search bar and type a search like "star wars the force awakens" and press enter.
      4. Wait till that page is loaded and then click in the search bar, press the backspace key and then press enter. Repeat that till the whole word is gone.
      5. Open a new tab and go to Bing again, click on the medal and it should show 60/60 for mobile search points.
      6. Open Microsoft Edge, go to Bing and log in again.
      7. Repeat step 3 but type a longer initial search.
      8. Click on the medal and it should show 102/102 points for PC Search.
      9. There should also be some bonus point searches and sometimes there are quizzes, just right click these and open in a new tab. For the bonus searches just go into the tab and then close those tabs. For the quizzes, answer them till you get the answer right.
      10. (Optional) Click on the medal on Bing and in the drop down menu click on "See all offers" and that will show anything you miss.

      Bit long winded sorry but you can get this process to under 5 minutes very easily.

        And i only earned 30 points for searching.. nothing said about mobile search as far as i can see? Maybe somethings wrong

        But i have earned 680 points for today…

        In firefox it's called 'responsive design mode'
