        Less Is More…

  • To be eligible for this Promotion, you must:

    • if you are a new customer, sign up for a new residential fixed wireless internet service with a minimum term of 24-months and a minimum monthly charge of $59.95 or more;
    • if you are an existing customer, sign up for a new residential fixed wireless internet service with a minimum term of 24-months and a minimum monthly charge of $59.95 or more;
    • agree to pay for your service by direct debit from your credit card for the entire contract term;
    • select or quote one of the applicable promotion codes when you apply; and
    • be at least 18 years of age with a current Australian residential address.

    Offer not available for all plans. Might be worth adding to description…

    • Thanks, updated Title, hadn't seen that.

  • for real though, 24 month contracts are way too risky with NBN and mobile services these days. Value changes way too fast and NBN/telcos quality can go to shit in an instant.

    I think those days are long gone, the future will be no contracts.

      the future will be no contracts.

      The only reason companies need contracts is because their product and/or price is not competitive enough to retain their customers without a contract !!!

      • ^^ Exactly!

        Actually with fixed wireless the contract is to spread the cost of installation. Otherwise the true setup costs would be in the order of $300-400 which most folks aren't keen on paying up front.

        That cost is hidden in the NBN in the sense that consumers don't pay it directly but do pay indirectly through higher prices and eventually through their taxes when the Govt inevitably writes down their investment in nbnco.

        • 24 months fixed contract for existing customers doesn't wash with the cost of install most likely already recovered though….

        • @ardseidel: Yes and no.

          If the customer hasn't finished their initial contract then there is still some setup cost recovery going on.

          Irrespective, for the re-contracting customer their choice is 24 month contract with 3 months free, or keep paying whatever they're already paying and don't get 3 months free.

          Essentially the ISP is saying "if you'll commit to us, that makes our job easier so we'll give you a discount in appreciation".

  • I can vouch for the quality of Nuskope. Have been using them for about 8 months. Probably had one drop-out in the whole time and consistent speeds of 27mbps or more, no matter what time of the day of night. I can get NBN but why bother with all the hassles that most seem to be having. I'm sticking with Nuskope.
    I agree with the comments about 24 month contracts being a bit much, considering how technology and prices change very quickly.
    Having said that, I was initially on a 250gb per month plan with Nuskope, which is more than enough for me. After about 6 months they changed their plan and for the same price, I now have 500gb per month.
