    I would have thought that the new GST rules would apply for sales that occur from 1 July 2018 i.e. based on time of sale rather then when they arrive in Australia. I haven't seen anything that clearly confirms that but overseas suppliers who are required register are only required to charge GST on sales occurring from 1 July 2018.
