  • Check futu_online with that 20% off code. I think futu_online was free shipping on all while this is on most.

    • Yeah nah. Futu's initial price is way higher so 20% is moot.

      • +2

Do the math; the AC Pro for example, is $180.55 delivered here while it's $180.00 delivered from futu_online with the 20% discount.

        • My bad, didn't realise my eBay Plus was hiding the shipping cost.
Mod edited my post to reflect this.

I have the AC lite, the Wifi is so much better than the standard ISP provided router.

    • +3

10000000% agree. AC Lite is amazing

    • I assume the LR will be even better? The wifi situation at my house is terrible. Tried multiple routers (mine and borrowed).

Does it come with power supply? Thanks.

      • +1

If you can run cabling you are best with several access points. Second best option is ethernet over powerline to connect access points. Third option is mesh access points.

    • Any of the light commercial ranges are better than the RSP supplied stuff.

The TP link stuff has a higher throughput (just), plus a full GUI (and opt management software if you have several)

  • +1

    Nm; remove

  • Cant see how the AC Pro is $165,

    Shows $180 in my cart

    • Price jacked to $199 before discount.

  • Is the USG overkill for home environment? I'm just tiring of managing reserved IPs on consumer level router for so many smart home devices and IP cams.

    • +2

Not overkill for home environment, but static IP reservation isn't the best on Unifi controller.

Have a look at some unifi videos and check out the ubiquiti reddit.

      USG is not an overkill…
Since you are doing these things… you might thing USG is too basic. :)
