Posting this as it recently dropped in price, and it's most likely my last Amazon US deal because after June they won't ship to Aus anymore.

Can you chnage the date format on these casio's?
The MM-DD is a tad annoying

    • +4

      No unfortunately. It's fixed US-standards

  • Wish they still have this for under $70 before this month ends.

For a second I thought I saw "Super-Auto-Notification LED" lol

Both great deals, but i prefer the 5600

    • +2

The standard 5600 Classic is still a great price, it's the 1st link under Other Watch Deals.

      • The classic still too big for a 6 yo boy ?

        • +3

          I'm not sure, I don't know any 6 year old boys. It's 42.8mm wide.

Maybe just get a smaller Casio F91W or F94 for under $10.00 shipped

        • Yeah too big for a 6yo boy.

My 4 and 6yo kids can't wear the classic 5600 models. I'd suggest a Baby G for them. BGD-501 was on sale on Catch recently for under $60. BLX-5600 great for boys.

Or get a Casio f105w. $25 on ebay, or $12 in Japan (if you know anyone going there). Cheap and great.

  • is this the model with the vibrating alarm?

    • +2

The GD-350 in the 1st link under Other Watch Deals has a vibrator.

  • Does anyone know that this watch can display 12 HRS format?

    I hate 24 Hr format !!!!

    • how can you hate the only proper format?

      • That's how i got used to seeing time as a child and that's how I prefer!!!

      • Username checks out.

    • Yes. I believe all these casios can be changed from 12h to 24h, and vice versa

~$67 is an excellent price for the Casio G-Shock Stealth GD400MB-1. This Adelaide shop wants $183.20.

    • +1

Great comparison. Love OzB for this reason

      • And they claim it was $229. Australian watch vendors charge whatever they want.

    Cheers.

  • WatchNerd have you heard of any places in Aus stocking the full metal (silver) GMW-B5000D?

    • Wow that's an expensive G-Shock. I don't really take notice of any Aussie places selling G-Shocks as they are usually a lot more than Amazon US and eBay Singapore stores.

  • +2

    Ohhh shit. 5600 negative display!

Was actually looking at getting two Timex Easy Readers instead for the same price. Or do I get all of them? Damn it.

    • Get the casio, not the timex. That's my $2

      • But I feel the Timex watches would be more versatile though.

        • But the casio looks awesome retro. The timex looks like any other $2 watch from the weekend market

Thanks for the deal. I have made the purchase and using $10 discounts from Audible deal last time.

  • So it seems like Amazon is putting their US stuff on our AU store - pricing doesn't seem to be jacked up as well…

    e.g:
    US Store: $35.36 (AUD $47.85): https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0721K4TB5/ref=ox_sc_sfl_t…

    AU Store: AUD $48.26: https://www.amazon.com.au/Timex-TW2R40000-Reader-Anniversary…

I hope the price remains the same even after June 30…Unless everything goes up by 10%.

  • Just got mine and it is not the stealth all black model, it has red accents! Not particularly happy.
