Is it worth getting Iphone SE as a backup phone?

    • +8

If money is no object and you want a small phone, sure, why not. But a $370 backup phone? perhaps Im getting old?!?!

      • +2

If backing up his iPhone, then yes.

It's like a third of a price of a flagship bro

      it's a pocket rocket!

it's almost worth using as your main phone. I use it as mine, some sites obviously don't fit properly on the little screen. but it's a great little phone, so fast, okay camera, great compact design. It puts any similar sized Android at any price to shame.

        okay camera

At $368, it's the best camera you're going to get on a phone at that price range outside of a China phone, and that's coming from a staunch Android user.

Ive printed A3 photos from the iPhone SE, directly from the iPhone, and they actually look good. Though kinda blurry after cropping.

And great for texting one handed while driving.

      • .okay camera

C'mon, really? It takes fantastic photos. You're doing the iPhone SE a disservice by playing that down!

Agreed that it's a fantastic phone. I love mine.

iPhone 5SE is so overdue for next model.

    • +4

      It isn’t a 5. It is a 6s in a 5 form factor.

      • Even still - an iPhone SE2 would be pretty shmick

      • i was hoping for a cheap price for 6s.
Is there any chance i can get 6s for this price?

        Thanks

      • Without any doubts it's a great price. I meant apple has released new phone every year. It's now more than 1 year since 5SE released. The new SE model is overdue now to come out.

Great price for the Mate 10 Pro.

Bought an IP SE 128gb last year for A$520… still a great phone and fast on IOS11

32gb is too small for my liking.. would at least go for 64gb

  • Does it come with the Optus bloatware?

  • Thanks OP.
Ordered Huawei Mate 10 Pro and it is scheduled to be delivered tomorrow.
    I'm upgrading from a Huawei Mate 7.

  • What happened to OP? Is he well? dont see any post from him anymore!
