gear what? try to copy gearbest? comeon…..try to be a little creative, bruh

  • GST may possibly be payable on these FYI

    • GST is definitely payable after 1/7/18. Isn't it?

  • Missing b28 ?

    • correct.
If you're looking for B28, Mi Mix 2S has it.

      • any other mi phone to consider in $400 to 600 price range?or huawei/honor phone,
        need big battery,sd card,good camera,2k screen,3.5mm headphone
        don't play game

        • has fhd+, not 2K, the Nokia 7 Plus …. band 28, nfc, 2 day battery AND its android one and treble compliant …so already on oreo, beta for Android P if you want to try (Aug for final) and …..no need to wait for Xiaomi for look after patching the OS anymore ….

Be up there with Pixel for Android support and timely updates.

2K screen, have it on my LG, had it on my moto, not a big deal on a phone compared to FHD+, it's not a TV and the more pixels the lower the battery life.
If it was a big deal apple would have had it, iPhone X is 2436-by-1125-pixel resolution at 458 ppi
          nokia is (2160 x 1080, 18:9),

        • @garage sale: Treble doesn't actually guarantee updates. It's an architectural change that makes it easier for phone makers to push updates out without having to change everything. There seems to be a misconception that Google is sending out all the updates.

Phone makers will still have to push updates out, but the fact that it's easier means phones might get updates more frequently.

EDIT: More info here - https://www.androidauthority.com/project-treble-818225/

        • @flaminglemon: yeah, used to be called HAL when PCs brought in the abstraction layer. Seems some phones didn't implement treble eg the Xiaomi A1, so no Android P for the A1 it would seem.

ones released with Oreo such as the Nokia 7 plus have it.

        • @garage sale: Yup. It's a requirement that all phones released with Oreo (not sure if it has to be 8.1) must support Treble.

Speaking of the A1, again, Android One phones don't get updates direct from Google. It's all up to the phone makers. That being said, Google are actively trying to minimize fragmentation. They'll get it right one day. I might not be alive to see it, but one day.

  • Any chance of a deal on a Xiaomi M365?

  • How do you handle warranty, OP?

  • Are these Xiaomi Hybrid Dual Driver earphones different to the MI IV dual driver headphones? They definitely look different.
