Get what? That any saving should allow contempt of Australian law(and that is not always the case)? The Australia, that members of my family died to protect. As long as there is any level of saving all is OK? Too bad to those who do the right thing? What other laws should we flaunt?

        • +1

          @Major Mess:

You're taking this way too far lol, the user was incorrect about the price jacking (saying it was $429 before the sale when it clearly wasn't), that's it.

        • Sorry overlord, I may have linked the wrong listings.

Futu - Last sold at $455 before the sale started. Now $525 (conveniently the same price as every other seller in this sale).
          https://offer.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewBidsLogin&ite…

PC Byte - Last sold for $468 before the sale started. Now $525
          https://offer.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewBidsLogin&ite…

FTC Computers - Was $588, now $678! woohoo
          https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Intel-S1151-Core-i7-8700K-3-7GHz…

          Futu - Was $530, now $605!
          https://offer.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewBidsLogin&ite…

Yes I understand the prices are lower after the discount, but the 20% is a complete farce.

Price jacking is present. Neg me all you want, but don't try to deny it.

          @Gozzhogger:

          Downvoted for showing proof ;)

        • @Gozzhogger: don't worry, there are many here who don't believe it is price jacking. We got you what u were trying to say as it happened to me as well for few items I was looking.

If you want you can report it to ACCC as it is false advertising of 25 by sellers of eBay when they raise prices of many items.
Having said that there are many sellers who don't to it and with others, you can find some good bargains as well. Just do your research.

  • In case anyone would be kind enough to help choose a bang for buck 1080ti prebuilt - https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/390448#comment-6147781

  • I'm looking for micro SD card 128gb (order from ozbargainhunter and they didn't send to me said something about bug in their system). Can anyone point out which one Better? I tried to search and too many show up with the same detail but different price.

Samsung Evo 128gb class 10 grade 3 for $49 and the same one with for 4k phone for $60?

$660 for the Sony RX0 from Videopro seems a good deal.

Just bought the Mavic Pro with Free Insurance for $899.25.
Here is teh details on the insurance (That is not worded or link on their ebay)
Hmmm very funny. I hope the Drone is all above board.

    What am I covered for?
    Private Pleasure and Commercial Use.
The Legal Liability to pay damages in respect of accidental bodily injury and accidental damage to property caused by the Aircraft.
Single Limit of AUD $100,000 each accident.
(*Subject to full policy terms and conditions)

Can I Increase my cover and insure my Remotely Piloted Aircraft (RPA)?
Yes, please submit an enquiry and we will be in touch with you shortly.

    Meh

    • Saw their insured items before and I normally disregard them since they're not the DJI Care things. I think it's still cheap though. Would of loved this deal but unfortunately I bought one earlier this week for $1000 from a seller that won't do tax receipt.

  • Misleading deceptive conduct

3/07 I purchased from PCBYTE: Corsair K70 LUX RGB LED Backlight Mechanical Gaming Keyboard Cherry MX Blue
    Original Price - $218
After Pizzazz coupon, so 22% off - $172.66

    Now it's
    $233/$174.75 with 25% off, lol

  • Drone's… Mavic Air $974.25 vs Platinum $1,124.25

Literally cannot decide. I really want that noise reduction but such a difference in price and I love the compact of the Air.

    • Buy the standard mavic pro for 899 and get the platinum propellers.
With mavic pro 2 coming soon. Might as well get the cheapy sonyou can upgrade to the real deal later. You can resell the mavic pro for sumilar money in 6 months.

  • Any good monitor in this deal? I tried to find one but it seems dell ultrasharp is much higher than Dell outlet.

Razer Lancehead Tournament Edition RGB LED for $74.25 shipped from PC.Byte with "PROXY"

    Cheers

Know that a lot of price jacking goes on in these super duper type ebay "specials" but not fair to lump every single participant and every single offering as price jackers. Grabbed an iPad Pro 10.5 inch 256GB Wifi/Cell Australian Stock for <$1030 which retails for 1399 and I have never seen below 1100. Of course, I am yet to receive it….. GULP!!

  • PC BYTE

I bought a few WD Elements last week - on the 10% off deal…

and then noted a Samsung 32 inch monitor.

    299 - then with the 10% off.

    now

    319 with the 20% off

    299 - 29.9 = 269.1

    319 - 63.8 = 255.2

    diff = 14

if the price had remained at 299 = discount would have been 60 and price to pay 240 !!!

  • +4

Oh the pain when Ebay emails you with a, “everyone deserves a second chance”. Was: $2780, NOW: $2999!!!!

    Yayyyyy.

  • Sorry if I've missed this, but when does this sale end?

  • Anyone bought from vendor Dabtronics before? Using Google Maps it looks like they operate out of some housing apartments in Merrylands, NSW lol, but they have some really cheap products (though they add the word 'SEALED' onto the end of their listings and I have NFI what that means). I don't know whether to trust them or not!

  • Thinking of getting the LG 38WK95C for $1,650 from $2,200 from Futu Online Store.

Anyone have any thoughts on this and do you know if the receipt would say $2,200 on it instead of the price after PROXY code?

    https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/LG-38-38WK95C-IPS-HDR10-WQHD-Gam…

    • +1

The invoice will be showing the original price.
      In this case $2200.

  • Does anyone know if any of this sells a BRIX?

    thanks

  • pretty good deal for AquaTouch

The price jacking is strong with 'trinityconnectonline'. So many of their monitors are at minimum at least $100 more than in store prices.

    Philips BDM3201FD 32'' LED - $407.95, with 25% off makes it ONLY $305.
    https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/PHILIPS-BDM3201FD-LED-MONITOR-32…

Or you can buy it at normal price from Centrecom for $279.
    https://www.centrecom.com.au/philips-bdm3201fd-32-led-smart-…

    • +1

Just on principle of this price jacking I paid an extra ~$1.50 from a different seller rather than buy from this mob ;)

  • -5

Not sure if it is normal. But why why why, are there Neg votes on people asking the simplest questions to answer. Answer it or scroll on. No need to be a AH FFS.
Go ahead, neg me now and prove im right.
Seriously, Look at the minus votes above and see what they have really asked. Some of you must be a walking time bomb of stress.

    • +4

Cause the ones that ask the simple questions could have had their questions answered, on their own, had they did their own search. Instead of asking to be "spoon feed".

  • Hey
    …..any 4k hdr tv's on sale?

    • Huh? All of them? Have a budget?

  • Lol..

Quick guys jump on this, last one from good old price jacker SydneyTec: Sony WH-1000XM2 Wireless Noise Cancelling Headphones sold history shows price at $438.90, now with code PROXY it's a low of $2,111.12

Is everyone making new eBay account for 30 day Prime Trial?

    • +3

Why would you make a new ebay account for an Amazon Prime trial?

  • I'm getting "this code can't be applied to your order" Anybody know if this discount has ended early? I'm an Ebay Plus member and every item is from the plus range (from PC Byte & Futu). I thought it was originally meant to end on the 19th. Then I heard 18th… No idea what's going on.

    • I just ordered then from PC Byte and had no issues with PROXY. Have you used the coupon code before? I think it's a max of three uses per account… can't think of anything else…

  • just want to confirm this expires 11.59 tomorrow night, not tonight?

    • +1

      Yes

This offer commences at 10.00 (AEST) on 12 July 2018 and ends at 23.59 (AEST) on 18 July 2018 (“Offer Period”).

      • Thanks arg, had it in my head it ended tonight but still waiting to confirm something on a purchase so welcome the extra day :)

        • Ditto.. I ended up buying tonight anyway, so checked this thread to see if there was any other info thats come up!

  • +1

    I purchased wine from Graysonline.

They tried to cancel my order 5 days after I placed it. 2 days later no response to messages. 7 days later the items are still available for sale.

    What an absolute scam.

  • Ordered a monitor from Sydneytec on 18th with this code.
Still hasn't been sent and no reply from them.

Anyone else having issues with them?
