  • Not working for me. Said “coupon Code already been redeemed”.
Opened another account using a different email hoping the code will work using different account. Still got same msg. Code has been redeemed.

  • Bummer… not working for me. Tried 2:40PM- 2:54PM

I selected 2xadult tickets for 30 August 2018 ($191aud). When i enter the promo code, it's coming up with an error "Number of coupon is not enough."

Has anyone had success since 2:50PM?

  • Tried just then, no luck. Error message "number of coupon is not enough".

  • So much conflicting information! This is what they replied to me when I asked if it was an open ticket

    • I also called them on the Singapore number and be said the same thing. Waste of $50 bucks lol

      • Not sure you have wasted $. Have you got your tickets yet? When were you hoping to go? Valid dates appear on tickets. Guess we will only really know once we show up and scan them?

        • I'm going to Osaka in mid September, I did enquire about it if its possible to just show up to USJ with the tickets, he said that we might get turned away, so yes no chance of really knowing till we get there.

I havent received the tickets yet

        • @Shibuyatokyo:

"Please reply before 7/15 18:00 (GMT+8) to process your booking; otherwise, it will be cancelled"

If you are worried about wasting money, just don't confirm it? Or tell them to cancel as you thought it was an open ticket?

        • @Knightelf:I did mention that to them but they said they couldn't. it's ok 50 bucks not that much to me,if anything I'll keep the tickets and turn up to usj to see if they will allow me in

        • +1

          @Shibuyatokyo:

Well, I am in the same boat as I am going in December, so hopefully we will find out from other ozbargainers!

      • I am having this forum bookmarked for updates. I spend AUD$190 on this… :-(

Anyway, the ticket said Date of Entry Jan 30 2018 ~ Jan 9 2019 so can't be clearer than this.

        • I messaged KKday yesterday and this is the reply received today.

        • My voucher states that it is valid until 29 January 2019…so much inconsistency

        • @Knightelf: I know right, I have 1 voucher for 9 Jan, 1 voucher for 29 Jan and one for 21 June 2019 even.

  • I think there is probably a bit of confusion. The date that you set through the travel agency is probably a standard thing that they might transmit to the provider.

In this case I believe that when universal parks generate the ticket, they are probably only concerned with the time frame the ticket is purchased for. I'd imagine after this transaction is done between the agency and the park, there wouldn't be any more transactions between them on this, unless there was an amendment.

If there was an issue, you could probably instigate a chargeback due to the descripancies with the two dates.

    • I think the date picker is just a standard feature of their website.
They use it to verify that the ticket sold to you will work within the date you selected.

For example, even for a single use train ticket they ask for a date, since some train tickets only work within 1 month of purchase, then they don't sell you that one.

I checked quite a few of their offerings, and even things which you don't expect should need a date, they always have the date picker.

Its similar to some travel websites asking for your passport expiry date, so that they can verify that the ticket you are planning to book will satisfy the Visa Requirements for entry into the country you are trying to visit.

  • Best deal ever! Just make sure you get the express pass if you want to go on all the rides especially around this time when it is Japan school holidays.

I've been there twice, once during Japan school holiday (end of July) without express and once around a month ago on a Thursday (quiet day) with the express 7.

For the time I didn't have the express pass I only went on 3 rides that day since it was so busy, whereas this time I was about to go on all the rides I wanted.

We only lined up for the Final Fantasy XR ride because it's one of the popular ride and we didn't get express for. For the rest, we've only waited for 20 mins max.

Also make sure you get there early before it opens if you want to get the best out of it, check the website for the opening hours of the day.

  • If anyone booked this one and feels a sting of regret inbox me and I might take it off your hands. Going mid august and obviously would rather not pay retail!

  • Hi everyone. Just wondering has anyone gone and used the tickets yet? I received my tickets today and its an open ticket till 2019, but in saying that there is so many inconsistencies. Dont want to go to USJ in September and get turned away lol.
