Is this intended to always be free?
How is this different to finding CC licensed photos online via a self engine>

Does it really qualify as a deal?

    • It is often hard to find such websites and often these come with many tricks. These photos are free forever.

Are these just photos that you took while on holidays? They're just pictures of tourist attractions >_<

    • Don't Worry!
More will be added as time goes on. Have you looked at the nature photos?

More likely self promote than a deal

    • Well even though I made the website, I make no money off it, so I don't exactly understand your point. Actually Free photos can be rare so I think that this is quite a deal.

Ozbargain is not a free photo sharing site. "Deals" like this are a waste of time if you are bargain hunting. Plenty of free photos around and microstock is literally a few cents.

There are other sites where your photos will be welcome. Go there.

Can a mod move this to freebies or forums please?

I am quite sorry, if you read my deal you would see I have categorised it as a freebie. Your comments hurt as while I am a new photographer, I made this website for free so others could perhaps enjoy and use them. Therefore I believe this is a deal. Ozbargain is a site for everyone, just because you don't enjoy it doesnt mean others will.

8 photos? how did you even get an abn for this grot? get an ssl too

    • I see 28 photos. Is that a typo or is OP frantically uploading his photos from the holiday as we speak?

    • Nope, I believe there are a lot more photos. Please take your time to look through before complaining. Furthermore, this is a hobby not a business so I dont have an abn and will get and SSL in the future. Thanks for your feedback.

Yeah…no. I can see the thought behind trying to promote yourself this way, but these are not the snapshots to do that with, and a private site is not the way to do it. Holiday snaps are best treated as such, I'm sorry to say.

I am very sorry but these are not only holiday snaps. I have spent time curating these and the fact that you dont see that hurts me. This can be a deal for others to I hope that this negativity stops. I am not promoting something; it is completely free forever.

Piminer, these are not stock-worthy photos. The fact that you can't see that shows you lack insight into the industry. You haven't "curated" anything - you've posted snaps, holiday or otherwise.

Another couple of points; several photos include people - do you have signed model releases that allow you to licence and distribute photos of these (presumably) strangers for commercial use, as your "Conditions for use" page claims to grant users?

I've seen one photo of a painting - do you likewise have permission to licence and distribute the image of this painting for commercial use?

  • OP how much money does this free access save us?

    • That would depend on what website you use to get photos normally. They often charge yearly fees that can reach in to the tens of dollars. Have fun using them!

      • How much do those other websites charge for similar access to your photos and content please?

        • Free forever

        • @Piminer: So how much money does this free access you posted here save us?

I've been banned for less than this. Mods on the snooze again.

    • …or they're busy downloading royalty-free "stock" images!

      • Please do not insult my images; I am new to photography

        • Probably a good reason to not try distributing them as "stock" images. You're also yet to answer my questions further up the page about distributing photos of strangers & artwork.

  • Common all. We get it she has posted this in the wrong forum. But don't be so harsh. She is just a newbie.
All the best with your photography but pls remove this post as you are getting hammered with harsh critics.

    • Harsh or not, the feedback provided in this thread is constructive and is intended to help OP improve the quality of the images and avoid legal implications.

  • Snap,a bargain, hey?
