I was looking for this mouse for a while. I know it is not the cheapest (this deal) so far but a pretty good price. Not to mentioned the price beat at Officeworks. I already got one and love it.

Update: As mentioned by zhuntai, by subscribing to JBs newsletter you will receive a 5% discount code which will bring the price down to $56.05

Is it eligible for the 5% off deal? Price would then be $56.05

Is it eligible for the 5% off deal?

      Yes, it is. 😊

    • That would be a sweet deal

I do wish this came in either a leftie model or at least ambidextrous. It's difficult to find a decent quality wireless mouse that has some good options, and which you can use left-handed. The only one I've come across so far is the Razer Ouroboros.

    • You could look at the Evoluent as well they do a leftie mouse

    • I'm a leftie (the non-commie kind)… and I have one of these models. I have no issues with it. It ia about a year old and still one of the most comfortable mouse I have ever used. I can't remember, but someone may correct me, there is Logitech Setpoint software that enables you to customise the mouse to your own settings.

      • Like many other similar mice the shape is not too bad, the trouble I see with it is the buttons on the side which are designed to be used by the right-hand thumb. It's these that I find difficult to work with as it forces me to change grip, or else they need to be disabled entirely. A truly ambidextrous mouse should be identical irrespective of which hand is used. Another excellent one that I also own for home use is the Roccat Kiro, which is super-comfortable and easily customised to suit either hand.

For reference, here's the Logitech Setpoint software you're referring to.

  • Great deal.

Great mouse even for larger hands. I prefer this over the MX Master due to cable clutter on my work desk.

  • Whats better this or the Logitech M720? M720 has gesture support which seems to be better then this one?

    • From memory, I think the M720 is not rechargeable whereas Logitech MX Anywhere 2S is.

    • +1

What feels better in your hand is more important i think.
Function wise they are very similar but M720 has an extra button and is not rechargeable.
Plus Anywhere has higher DPI and darkfield laser which works on any surface.

To me, M720 is the winner if it's cheaper than MX Anywhere by $10 or more.
At around same price? I would get MX Anywhere. it has more premium feel to it and smaller which i prefer.

BUT, if your hand is around average or big, go with MX Master S2. it's the ultimate of all.

Be advised that the scroll wheel can't be used as a middle click button. Rather, it "unlocks" the wheel so it can free spin. There is a separate button which can be programmed for middle click right underneath the wheel.

    • Be advised that the scroll wheel can't be used as a middle click button

This was a bit annoying for me too at the beginning. Then I programmed the middle button to do the same things as "Scroll click". You get used to it pretty quickly.

      • +1

        me too~
now i even prefer the separated middle click rather than wheel click.

  • the pointing feels so not accurate. There's no way to adjust it. Otherwise, functions and programmable buttons are great.

    • Windows usually has that enhance precision thing which seems to slow it down but improve accuracy. Not sure where in win 10, google would know..

  • It's not the best price yet right, remember it got around $50 recently…
Anw, it's a nice mouse, good battery life and rechargeable.

  • How does this compare to the trusty MX518 or G400?

    • I am not sure if this is comparable with those mentioned as MX Anywhere 2S is not a Gaming mouse. I would assume that those wired-gaming-mice you mentioned are faster than this.

    • Don't go wireless, think of the frags you'll miss out on with the micro lag bruh

  • thanks just got one!

    • You are welcome!

  • cheers got one, price matched with JB at officeworks.

    Good timing, thanks OP

  • I use one of these everyday. It's too small and the lack of middle click is annoying.

    Worst Mouse Ever.

    • Seriously downvoting this?

Mouse is so tiny I don't understand how it can fit anyone's hands.

  • Is this mouse is good enough for gaming?

    • I don't game… but no, it is not a dedicated gaming mouse… good for everything else thou ;)

  • Just tonight bought one from Officeworks with 5% price beat. The center wheel indeed does not click in as a button - but instead it clicks sideways both left and right.
I've already now grown accustomed after setting wheel-right as 'middle click' and wheel-left as 'back'. Thumb buttons set to volume up/down.
It definitely is quite small though. The length would be OK if the rear was taller… but yeah nah, it is designed for 'compact' travel style.

  • is there other wireless mouses in this price range I should look at? (Besides the M720)

    • the M585 was $35 yesterday but now back to $49

  • Thanks for the heads up, I was looking for a portable bluetooth mouse. Ordered. Much appreciated.

    • No worries. glad I could help
