Not just for first time members though - this works for me and I've had an active subscription before.

  • I got a gold pass (3 months) with my xbox last week and it said it has been redeemed already.

  • Nice, good thing I haven't bought the 12 month deal yet. This will save me like $1 compared to the 12 month deal all. Add on top of it :D

    • Don't forget cashrewards - $4 cashback for 3 months live!!

$31.80 for 12 months if my maths is right (I'm still half asleep lol)
Ends up $21.20 cheaper than the 12 months!

      • Can only buy it with an account that has an inactive gold service

        • Oh yeah right, I figured it could stack but then I realise.
Once you buy one you aren't a new or inactive member anymore :(

        • @pennypincher98: looks like I made the same mistake🙄

      • How do you stack the 3 months I can only buy 1 at a time?

        • You cant with this offer

  • So annoying MS and having kids account.

I have my main account and my son has his account. His xbox is the 'home' xbox so he cna leech off my Xbox Live Gold.

But sometimes He needs to play on the Xbox I have in my room cos I want to watch tv in the lounge (where his xbox is), so I want to buy him gold for that reason. But as his account is a child account, I cant buy it when logged into his account. And when logged into my account the offer isn't there!

(You cant change an accounts age once it's registered on Xbox Live

You don't need another Gold account to play in a different room, on a different Xbox. Simply log in with your EXISTING account on the bedroom TV.

      • Only one xbox can be the home xbox. If he logs onto his account on the non-home xbox, he doesn't have access to the games on my account or the gold service

        • Should work as @llama mentioned. I have a similar setup and it works. Microsoft

          @cheaponos:

Bah, had a long post written up and accidentally clicked =the back button.

That works when using one xbox. If you have multiple Xbox's, you can only set one Xbox as the home xbox which gives access to other gamertags to use all games and gold services.

If you use an xbox that isn't set as the home xbox, that user cannot use the gold service or games that are saved to the account. Only games using a disk

  • i had deactive account and the 3 month option wasn't discounted for me. so just bought the 12 month, really only wanted 3 months though

  • I had the Game Pass for 1 month when it was on sale for $1 (a couple of months ago). Will I be eligible for the above deal?

    • I had the same deal and was able to get this couldn't work out how to stack it though.

      • Can't stack. It's a one time offer for inactive / new members

  • Great timing so I can see how ordinary Forza Horizon is going to be in Scotland. If you are after twisty paved roads it is looking to be another disappointment as it appears currently. And the map is the same size it has been announced.

  • Might I suggest a change in the title? People are getting confused and thinking this is Game Pass not Xbox live

  • I have the 3 month offer as i havent been active. Can I get this then stack the 12 month deal on top?

    • Should be fine. I’m active service and can buy the 12 month for $53
