    Works. Just download and ordered 50 prints for $2.95. Will be interested to see what the quality is like. I don't have high hopes, but hey, it's $2.95!

  • Thanks! Just ordered 50 prints. Easy to use app.

    Used it for a year and the quality was pretty good. Better than what you get at kmart, big w, officeworks self print stations.

    The Android app wasn't the easiest to use and needs awhile to get used to.

      I had mixed experience from my several orders, and I stopped using it 6 months ago. The quality of prints was:
      - Acceptable: printed in the Philippines using Fujifilm paper (my 1st batch);
      - Excellent: printed in USA using Fujifilm paper (my 2nd batch);
      - Good to acceptable: printed in Australia using Fujifilm paper;
      - Very poor (blur and wrong color): printed in Australia using "Snapfish" paper, it's waste of resource and money.

      Are you getting your prints in Fujifilm recently?

      • need to go home and check, cant remember the top off my head

      • I stopped using Snapfish in 2016 since they started using "Snapfish" paper, they look like postcards more than photos, very disappointing.

  • The quality is decent and the app is very easy to use.

    Good deal but the iOS app doesn't allow choosing pics from Dropbox (where I hoard all my photos). Apart from the phone's local storage, other valid sources are Google Photos, Instagram, Facebook and Snapfish.

  • Does this stack with last years deal

  • Mine somehow thinks that I'm based in the UK and when I go to checkout and change delivery address, it won't let me. Any work around?

    Anyone know how to access the special? I downloaded the app but when I select prints to order it wants to charge normal prices.

    • +3

      The app says "thanks for downloading the app, please login to redeem the special" then after logging it is says it's been applied to your account.

    Thanks for this! Just downloaded and it works, shows me a 100 prints per month instead of 50 now!

    Anyone else have trouble with the app? I downloaded it and signed in with my Australian Snapfish account, but when it comes time to pay it's obvious that the app is defaulting to the USA store and wants $33 for international postage. Android app.

    • I have the same problem. Read the Snapfish help section and noticed that the 100 free prints deal is only for US and that the location is completely dependent on the language setting of the phone. So you need to delete the app and change your phone's language to English(AU).

      I deleted the app then changed the language to English(UK) because I don't have Australian on my phone by default. After reinstalling the deal had changed to 50 free prints but currency was in pounds.

      So I deleted the app again and downloaded locale app to change the language to English(AU) but it turns out the process can no longer by done easily through the app, as Android versions 4.2 and later need special permissions and require you to connect the phone to the PC and run certain commands. I couldn't be bothered doing so, so this is where I'm stuck at.

      • Awesome, thanks. Did that and now am able to make the order. I had trouble with the app on my older phone (Galaxy S4) as I couldn't upload photos without errors. But tried it on a newer phone and it worked.

    Just thought I'd share my experience with my first 50 "free" batch of 4x6 prints from Snapfish. Basically, not happy.. my prints came out dark, muddy and with a clear loss of detail. I verified this by printing a few samples at my local Kmart and comparing. Chalk and cheese - the Kmart ones were vibrant, bright and sharp and closely matched my colour calibrated monitor.

    I complained to Snapfish, and included scanned Kmart vs Snapfish samples. They quickly credited me back the postage cost which is good. Not so good was their response, suggesting it may have something to do with the way my photos were uploaded, and to re-upload at full res, no redeye reduction ticked blah blah. If they had actually looked closer at my order they would see I ordered prints straight off my Google Photos account. Amateur hour.

    Will use the credit for something else, in meantime I'm quite happy to pay next-day-ready 10 cents a print at my local Kmart rather than pfaffing around through the post with Snapfish. Your mileage may vary.
