          @wdmhbbbwctcdlbc: This isn't a rant but I don't buy bottled water on principle due to the plastic bottles and the fact that Melbourne water is great out of the tap - particularly in winter when it is cooled. If it works for you though, great.

          @Domingo: We usually go for Tony's (I think). I will get back to you if it isn't :) We buy our chicken breasts from the chicken place opposite it. They usually have roast chickens as well as fresh chicken.

          Buying meat in little plastic trays makes me wonder what they are hiding underneath as well as the environmental issues.

          We have started freezing our meat in little ziplock bags and, after use, washing them in hot soapy water then air drying ready for next time.

          @samehada: The containers take up a lot more freezer room. We haven't had a problem with the bags and I make sure the water is very hot and soapy and invert them to ensure I've cleaned the inside thoroughly. I then soak them for a while to make sure they are hot for long enough. I also defrost in the microwave or in the fridge. However, thanks for the comment.

      I think the idea is that you buy a 50$ ebay card, and you get 2000 flybuy points (which is worth $10). So basically you got a $40 ebay card worth $50. Can later use that ebay card for purchases on ebay for more discounts.

      I wonder if you get flybuy points when you make a purchase on ebay with a ebay gift card tho.

    C&C $10 off 1st collection $100 also appears to have fallen through, due to an eclair item out of stock that no substitute was provided. Wondered how woolies might contrast in those circumstances, ALDI just avoid it entirely. Nicer service tho if FB may credit this for us all, with-out prompting^.

        Yes you can. You can use a temporary card to clock the points, but you won't be able to redeem it for Flybuys dollars until after you register the card. Hope this helps :)

    Got mine, let’s see what happens next. The flybuys app is not as good as the Woolworths one for showing points and the woollies one has a chat function so you can ask if multiple week purchases are on track for points.
