Does anyone have experience with approx cost of installation for one of these?

If the sizes are right and you can do basic DIY, it doesn't take that much.

      • there's a BIG sticker says no DIY … hmmm :D

        • I don't care as long as I know I can do it :D

      • As much as I'd love to save a buck, I'm not willing to blow myself/family/house up on the gamble of whether I've done the job right. Rather pay an expert to make sure it's done right.

    • I want to know too, mine stuffed up for couple of hours last week cos water spilled into the on/off nob , lucky it came back to normal after blow dried before I bought another cook top.

My folks just had one of these installed. A licensed gas plumber needs to install it, otherwise you'll void the warranty (and possibly your house insurance!). Cost was $270 in Melbourne.

      • It's just a matter of replacing the gas pipe with a brand new and some basic installation skill, the insurance won't ever know that you replaced the cooktop unless had been a fire.
But if you never did any DIY in your life, then you need a technician.
