"3.7 Volt 2000mAH lithium rechargeable battery" is the equivalent to a single 18650 so "short 5-6 hour recharge time" feels like a slow charge time.

    • That is absolutely not true. 1 million batteries in a parallel connection would still be 3.7V.

    • +1

It lines up to about ~400mAh rate with the usual slow down at the end of Li-Ion - I'd say it's about right fora product using stockpiles of old/qualit-ybinned 2000mAh li-ions and obsolete stockpiles of charging circuits.

  • How many lumens?

    • No idea, but from the reviews good enough for under the bonnet and mobile business.

  • Saying it's sold out now.

    • Just got a few, still showing as available.

    • same for me, even delivery says sold out

    • Even now showing as available.

  • hmm

    will try to Get one

  • Thanks. got last one from near store

Did anyone else get this message when trying to purchase on eBay

Order service temporarily unavailable or invalid parameters in the request URL.

The payment says it's pending, nothing I've seen before

    • +2

Yes. Also weird it failed twice and the store pickup I selected kept disappearing from the available list.

    • Got the same message. Wonder if it'll be honoured.

"Long work time of 3 hrs from a short 5-6 hour recharge time"

Three hours of work and five or six hours of recharge time - that makes this the torch equivalent of a council worker! Just needs a little high-vis vest to wear and a small shovel to lean on.

    • …don't forget a pot belly hahaha.

    • So 3 hours is longer than 5 or 6 hours… someone need to go back to their kindergarten mathematics class.

Out of stock this morning it seems, but still available for delivery via eBay on @ozwogs link above. Woot, thanks guys. Another light I don't need :)

    • Same. Hopefully they actually have them in stock.

  • Got a call from sca this morning telling me that there is no stock and they want me to come in to the store to collect my refund. I asked if there is an alternative store I can visit to pick up the torch and they said there is no stock available. My pick up store was Bankstown Sydney

    • Just called Essendon to see how my order was going from last night and they said they didn't have enough to fulfil the order so they will try to get them delivered.

    • +3

Lol @ come instore to collect a refund.

Why can't they do it electronically?

      • After reading your reply I called the store. They said there is no chance of a delivery from an alternative store and there is also no alternative way of receiving a refund. I have to got to the store. Bs if you ask me….

        • +1

Call them back and ask why they're stuck in the 1950s

        • +4

          That.. sounds illegal.

They must refund you in the same method you paid, sounds like they are trying to avoid fees.

I'd be calling back demanding the refund to your PayPal/CC or which ever way you paid, and if they still say no that's when you report to ACCC.

          @c0balt:
Thanks for the advice. I just received the refund by visiting the store. It was a very ugly way they chose to deal with the issue but nevertheless I learned my lesson not to buy from them. Cheers for the feedback.

          @tighta55:

Maybe they thought while you're at the store you'd cave in and buy something

  • I got a call this morning: No stock at my local click and collect, so they said they would ship it out to me for free from an alternative store!

    • +1

      Me too!

    • You are lucky. I got a call there's no stock and order was cancelled. :(

    • +1

Same. They called in the morning. No hussle about free shipping

  • Fuarkkkkk my slow and cheap ass missed out on all the pick up in store stock.

This deal seems to be a good alternative

    • When I went to pick up my order it was these instead. Worth a little less but just as good I guess so no complaints from me.

  • Alice Springs, Mt Isa, and Port Lincoln still have stock, and some Tassie stores…

  • Went for a run on the bike and got a couple from Beaudesert and there's two left

Got 1 with C&C from Noosa store - Cheers OP.
