        I think they email you a voucher which credits $41.97 (or whatever) to your netflix account, so you can pick a higher or lower plan and get the same cash value from the voucher.

          If you read the terms it says HD only. Reading the comments people have said you will get credit for HD but it can used towards Ultra HD.

    So I'm presuming that this couldn't be used if you already have the UHD plan for Netflix?

      Eligible Persons may apply the value of the Netflix Offer to a different Netflix streaming plan, if it is like other times i've used family members credits from Optus or other promotions, the link provides you with a code you redeem on Netflix which is equal to X amount of money which covers you for X months of HD subscription. I've put it towards UHD subscription before and I can't see it saying otherwise in the conditions

        Yeah, it's just a dollar amount. Works in any currency too - I have a Canadian account (lived there when Netflix came out), it just converted it to the Canadian value for 3 months of netflix.

        Only realised when it applied that that I'm paying with an Australian card and have set my address to an Australian one, but it still charges me Canadian rates (which is saving me about $2 a month)

      You get a voucher that applies a credit to your account. About $42 I think. I am using it for my UHD sub.

          Yeah. When you add a voucher to Netflix it estimates how long the voucher will cover your current plan for.
          I added a $50 voucher last week to my UHD plan and it said it covered me until “21 September” (or something similar I can’t remember how long exactly).

    What do you have to do to get targeted for this? I've missed all these joint PS+/Netflix deals and I've been subbed since June last year.

    Is there a newsletter you have to subscribe to or something like that?

      I'm just on there marketing email which is how I recieved the first one (12 months PS+ and 3 Months netflix) I thought it was available to all even though it was targetted.

      I didn't recieve this one though, apparently not available to PS+ members so guessing you might need to be on their marketing newsletter but not on PS+.

      I think you can add yourself by logging into your sony account: https://account.sonyentertainmentnetwork.com/liquid/confirm-… then going to notification preferences and ticking the box.

    Just got my Netflix code now - Monday 11pm (purchased 3 months on Saturday midday as saw offer banner in playstation store while logged in from console). Email received is subject line "Your 3-months of Netflix is here" with "Claim Here" link in the email, which took me to Netflix website with claim code pre-populated. Afterwards under account the 'Your XX credit will be applied to your next bill", has now been updated to include the $41.97.

    For those wondering I never received the marketing email but decided to buy anyway and still received the Netflix code. My PS+ account had been disabled for about 3 months though.
