FAQ's

Can I buy more than one of these SIM's?
You can stack up to 24 months of Lebara recharges. We recommend you buy this SIM pack plus up to three 180 day vouchers. Remember if you are on an existing Medium or Large plan, you can stack further but only up to 24 months maximum.

What about my existing plan?
If you are on Medium or Large Plan your current plan will still be active until its expiry.

What if I am on another plan?
Extra Small, Small & Extra Large Plans will be overwritten. If you need assistance with your account please call us on 126 122.

What happens Next?
Once you make your purchase, we will send you an email with your new recharge PIN/s. Recharge is the same as always, i.e. sending an SMS to 126 172, logging in to My Lebara, or by calling us on 126 123.

  • Can I get the large starter pack for $9.90 plus this one for $99 and then activate altogether at the end of September?
    By doing so the monthly price will come down to $15.56.

    • You could get the large starter pack and one recharge voucher and do as you propose, before 60 days are up. But double check in case this plan overrides the other one and you lose one month.

    • You need to redeem before Sept but once you're on the plan you can stack 24 months

  • Notice that the purchased voucher won't expire (Only SIM card will expire). Actually we can buy a couple of them and redeem when needed.

  • Called the CS earlier this morning and the rep advised me to just pay the difference and they will upgrade me to Large. The rep took a note of this against my order so not sure if they will honour this when I get my starter pack, which btw since Saturday still sitting at processing.

    Not a native speaker. What does "Stack up to 24 months" mean? Buy 4 vouchers of the large plan then recharge every 6 months three more times? Or recharge the four 6 months vouchers in one go?

          2 starter packs will get 12 months and 2 SIM cards

    1. Can I buy 4 vouchers and use two each for my partner and myself? How can I get two sim cards (because the option only allow for 1 sim card)? Do I have to do 2 vouchers with a sim card purchase twice instead?
    2. I'm confused with the starter pack and vouchers terminology people are using in this forum. Do I need to get a starter pack (i can't find on the website) first before the vouchers? Just a note, I don't have a Lebara sim card.
    3. How do we port our existing number over to this plan? Is it automatic, do we have to call in, or do this online?

    Works well on the train line I travel to and from work - also in the area I'm living. Works better than Amaysim

    Cons
    The experience of trying to order recharge vouchers

    Ordered two on Sunday, no email confirmation nor voucher codes. Try both chat support and phone support on Monday. On chat support they find one order and say they've reissued PIN and should arrive in email in next three to five minutes. I have to prompt about the second order and five to ten minutes later I'm told they've done the same for that order.

    An hour later I call support as I never received any emails and I'm told they can apply one of the vouchers straight to my phone. I'm again put on hold and after x minutes I'm told they can't actually do this for whatever reason but they'll call me back, which they never will.

    Fast forward 36 hours and I've again been on both chat and phone support. The latest is that because I've waited so long, I argued I wanted to upgrade to this 16GB plan. I was told that requires head office approval. Can't cancel order (supposedly) and have to wait until COB tomorrow, when I've been promised a callback (we'll see about that, miracles do happen).

    I remember a day and age when purchasing vouchers were instant, not 72 hours. Meanwhile, my current plan will expire and my data has been used up.

    Nothing against the support that I spoke with this last time around, lovely gent by all accounts but, wow, what a time to be alive (and try to get the product you've purchased - admittedly now trying to upgrade)

    Told you there was no way you'd read this comment but it actually made me feel better!

    Swapping from long term Vodafone account to I guess what is the same network.

    Good deal in my mind for almost a years phone use.

    Won't be activating for 60 days so current shipping delays are no issue.

    Still waiting on a response from Lebara to see if they will upgrade me. I paid $99 each for two lots of 180 day 5 GB recharge vouchers and then this deal comes out… Disappointed.

    Customer service closed my support request without responding.

    • Same as well. called them to upgrade my plan and staff said no one told her, she called her supervisor, then i was told i have to email them the evidence to prove. Very disappointed.

      i paid $109 for 5g in May btw…
