For those who don't have a Spotlight nearby.
Thanks to TA for the Spotlight Deal on the same Powerboard.
Credit to TA for his original deal! I'm only posting this for people who have missed it for not having a spotlight nearby.

I must have been living under a rock, but I've never seen power boards like this!
Thanks for posting… clever idea and probably been around for years, but new to me :).

They're a complete nightmare trying to plug something into under a desk for general use!!
      Ingenious idea however

    • I've had these for about three years.
Only thing is that the protector falls off occasionally and its PITA to get back on.

  • OP: Might want to fix those TA links😉

Haven't seen it mentioned yet, but not only are the sockets child-safe, they also prevent dust from ingressing through unused sockets, which over time can be a fire risk.

    • Are you ready to discuss OCD yet or is it too soon?

Tell that to NSW Fire + Rescue :

Problems with power boards can arise from:

        • Overloading the power board.
        • Dust build up in unused points.

        Tips

        • Place power boards on their sides to prevent dust build up in unused points.
    • Excellent. I have a powerpoint inside my roof powering my POE switch connected to my IP Cameras. Will throw this up there.

  • I tried to price match at my local bunnings but they refused to price match as this is clearance item

      Paige match against who?

The Bunnings website has them for $4.85

  • For what it's worth, I've found these a total pain in the arse to use and wouldn't buy another.

You can remove the protective caps to make it a normal power board.

  • These are great if it's very easily accessible because you do need to ram the plugs in a bit.
Couldn't imagine this being fun behind a TV or under the deal though..

    • You can remove the protective caps to make it a normal power board.

  • I bought 2 of those there price matching Spotlight. Let the market force be with you.

At a glance I'd say that the length of the cord is about 90cm's, please don't sue me, I'm only eyeballing it
