They're a complete nightmare trying to plug something into under a desk for general use!!

I've had these for about three years.
Only thing is that the protector falls off occasionally and its PITA to get back on.

Haven't seen it mentioned yet, but not only are the sockets child-safe, they also prevent dust from ingressing through unused sockets, which over time can be a fire risk.

For what it's worth, I've found these a total pain in the arse to use and wouldn't buy another.
You can remove the protective caps to make it a normal power board.
These are great if it's very easily accessible because you do need to ram the plugs in a bit.

At a glance I'd say that the length of the cord is about 90cm's, please don't sue me, I'm only eyeballing it
I must have been living under a rock, but I've never seen power boards like this!
