      Well tell us the best before date. It's been omitted from ad.

      I've bought these same cheap packs elsewhere in Brisbane recently, but were at or beyond best before date. Was blinded by the bargain price. Not falling for that again😠

      May not be perfect for the kids lunch box in that case!

        have not seen them physically. I'd say nearer the BBD than the manufacture date

        Some were crap. Some tasted ok.

        But taste is different to their nutritional value which may be low after a long time in storage.

        I also bought 210g packs which were better value @30c ea & tasted much fresher than the 5x22g multi packs. (Bought at Golden Circle Factory Outlet.)

        Now (if I buy) I buy 1 pack with same BBD & try outside store. If good, go back in & buy a carton. Tried that with 210g pack & bought remaining stock! Then bought some multi packs which weren't so fresh😢

        Buying food near BBD may not be good value (taste, nutritional value, wasted product if not ok).

        I ran a food recovery group, sourcing food about to be unsaleable & turning it into food for those doing it tough. (Smaller scale than FoodBank & Ozharvest that came along later.)
        But supplying almost dead food to those who most needed but could least afford good nutrition troubled me. So I stopped & set up a business that funded better food from farmers & gave work experience for those without work.

  Certainly enjoyable eating when fresh
  5x22g per multi pack - handy size
  2 for $5 @Woolies!

  Ingredients
  Wholegrain Cereals (63%) (Corn, Wheat, Oats), Vegetable Oil, Rice, Sugar, Maltodextrin, Milk Powder, Salt, Onion Powder, Yeast Extract, Natural Flavours (Soy), Mineral Salt (Potassium Chloride), Cheese Powder (Milk), Food Acids (Citric Acid, Lactic Acid), Herb (Parsley), Natural Colour (Paprika Extract).

  Can be repurposed for use in other foods. Met a person who used these instead of expensive pine nuts in making Pesto.

    Way past Best By Date

    BBD had been removed in deal ad - which made me suspicious. Pretty deceptive advertising as "Super Box Special" to attract people to their store, knowing stock was so out of date😠

    I don't think past BBD food is ever a bargain. Most shops would have reduced price long ago to clear stock & have thrown remaining stock out.
    So a freebie if you can find stock & don't mind a dumpster dive😉

    It's up to us what we put in out months - but consider if this is suitable nutrition for children as recommended in this deal!! If fresh - would be a good suggestion.

    So a warning to check date on all stock at Northside Discount Fruit Barn [Rothwell].
    Pretty dodgy of them knowingly promoting 1 month out of date stock!
