It is listed on the site though, if you go to bbq accessories it’s an option in there

      • there was no picture displayed when I checked but I assume it's now been updated.

seems to have almost no stock. all 6 stores around me on the east side of Melbourne have no stock according to website.

    • My local (Tuggerah NSW 2261) has stock.

      • That's great for you, it's a bit far for those in Melbourne though.

  • None in Adelaide, lol closest stock is 250km away

  • Not a lot near me.
I need one to go with my lodge grill I bought.
Gonna make one myself out of a coffee tin later today.
My local Bunnings only has the big, expensive ones in stock. Sucks. :(

You won't be getting my 8 bucks today, Bunnings!

      • Good effort. Looks good. No holes in the bottom?

      • Very nice! Those long screws into the handle though … won't that be nice and hot after a while, just in time for you to grab it …?

        • Yep, nice and hot indeed. Lets you know you're alive.

      • Update: it works, but needs holes at the bottom.
Update update: I checked my local Bunnings again and they had the jumbucks in stock, probably because of what Aldi are doing. So I bought one of those as well. Charcoal for everyone! Just like Christmas!

Yep, I was going to buy one of these in Alexandria a while ago and there was no stock. Only the more expensive one. Bait and switch. No surprises.

    • same thing happened to me. no stock.

      • Just bought it in Alexandria 30 Min ago. There were none on display. Asked Bunnings employee if they have them in stock. He checked and told they have just arrived so they have not put them yet. There was a big box with these starters on the pallet.

Bummer bought this at full price 4 months ago. Been serving me really well and would highly recommend it.

    • Same. Bought 2 of them few months back

  • there is no stock of this in Victoria. can anyone else confirm…. smells of a bait and switch to combat aldi special.

    • I know not VIC but there are a few stores near me on the NSW central coast that have stock according to the website.

  • super super handy and damn good price, nice one OP

    • Thanks hope you can find one in stock

  • sharing that this is showing as In Stock in some stores near me: Thornleigh (2120), Dural, Castle Hill, North Parramatta

This is a POS. Mine fell apart after a year. Buy yourself this one - https://www.bunnings.com.au/heat-beads-bbq-chimney_p3170712

Better heat distribution, and the coals light a lot faster.

I got a stainless steel one at a bbq show, was $40 but will last forever and its heavy gauge.

Beats me how people try and get a coal bbq going in a reasonable time without one.

yes, have tried the snake method.

      • Heat Beads all the way for me. These were recalled I am pretty sure because they are galvanised. I'd rather make my own than buy this.

        • I've got a heat beads one too and it's awesome. This would be a pile of rust in a couple of days after you first use it. You'd think the fumes from the galv would make you sick too.

    • thanks for the top. the heat beads version is currently fill price at my bunnings. I will get one when it's on sale next time.

  • good price but handle melts regardless of what the call it, its plastic

  • Lidcombe NSW has a pallet of them tonight.

  • Midland WA have two boxes on the floor. I grabbed one.
