Search link. This is a bit of a weird one. You will have to change the filter yourself for item condition since it doesn't seem to work if I try to make a search with those filters. It looks like items that are 'brand new' and 'new: never used' don't seem to work. But 'used', 'manufacturer refurbished' and 'seller refurbished' should work.

If you really want the filters applied with the search every time you can use this link:

    https://www.ebay.com.au/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_sacat=0&_udlo&….

Just replace PHONE in the url (it's towards the end, right after 'nkw=') with whatever you want. If you need two words, like nintendo switch, just replace it with 'nintendo+switch'.

  • what bout that refurb rx580 deal at 303

Da fak, I wouldn't even buy it new for that considering it's been under 1900 multiple time LMAO.

eBay and co acting like scumbags again with illegal, deceptive practices. I guess the GoogBook lobby is too profitable for duh gummints what with it being the largest.

Just keep prosecuting MSY, I mean hey, they actually have bargains all the time, what a terrible thing for consumers.

    • Thanks. Updated.

  • Switch @ EBGames goes to about $320. Not bad!

    • +2

      Yeah… nah.
New ones have been down to $315.

Screw paying $320 for a used Switch.

      • Not very frequently, and you need to have gotten one basically in the first minute thinking about the recent Amazon/eBay sales as examples.

Yeah it’s not awesome, but when people are selling their used Switches for basically full retail on Gumtree it’s comparatively better. I think they also give you a bit of warranty?

For myself I would only buy new, but for someone with a lower budget and doesn’t want to wait for the next big discount and try to get one then, it’s not a bad option.

        • +1

When you give reference to a price "people are selling on gumtree", that may just be what remains unsold. Things priced well sell fast, and generally sellers are negotiable, so the actual amounts paid in these transactions remain unseen. What's left is a list of old ads of overpriced items from non negotiable sellers, which is hardly a price reference point.

        • @chyawala: I understand. I check Gumtree for my local area twice a day for 4 specific items, one being Switches so I see most of the ads that are there for less than a day to see the trends and make reasonable assumptions on prices.

This is still largely dependent on “getting in fast” and also negotiating skills to get the “good deal”.

For someone who wants a lower stress purchase without having to deal with a potential idiot/dodgy sale on Gumtree, the EB preowned deal with the limited warranty they offer isn’t bad. It’s not “omfg I’m buying one right now quiiiiiick” either.

    • +4

Brand new is $355 Delivered @ The Gamesmen eBay today with PENNY5 :)

Not the best ever, but still a pretty good price.

      • Thanks for that. A mate of mine nearly grabbed the preowned one from EB but after I told him about your link he was happy to pay the extra $35 for new.

  • +4

They wouldn't dare price jack on refurbished items…would they?

    • -1

      Why not man?

  • Is the Xbox one x worth? 467 after coupon.

    • If you want to buy one, then yes.
If you don't want to buy one, then no.

    • I think that's the lowest price it's been. They haven't been putting it on sale, not like the $379 PS4 Pro Amazon OzBargain favorite.

  • +4

do we have a search link guys?

    • Shits me that eBay makes us the customers do the hard yards setting up a working search link every time. Wish they'd pull their finger outta their arse and do it for us, ya know, the customers.

    • Why in the name of baby jesus do they not enable us to search the items in the sale. So retarded

  • I have the urge to sell my Oculus Rift, slightly used. Where's the most reliable place to post an ad?

    • Gumtree is free to list an ad with 10 photos. They are reliable.

      • Is Gumtree still available?

    • +15

Just post your ad here, but make it look like a question.

      • +1

        Bend, don't break ;)

      • Hmm. Good idea! I'll try it for a few more days, but it really has been giving me quite a headache when I use it. Thanks fam.

    • +3

I think eBay is better for sellers honestly. There's a large pool of naive people that pay higher prices.

      • I haven't tried it before but I'm worried what if they're not happy with the product?

    • -4

      It's second hand …

      • +4

Wow, who would of guessed that someone would post a second hand item on a post about a code for second hand items?

  • iphone 6S 16GB at Futu_online. Manufactured refurbished. $300 + shipping

    https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/iPhone-6S-16GB-Rose-Gold-A9-Dual…

Anybody knows how the warranty will be like? I wonder who will handle the warranty? Apple or Futu?
    Thanks

    • If it's Aussie stock then it should be Apple.

      • yup local stock. Futu_online says it's Manufactured Refurbished. Finger crossed.

First time I bought refurbished stuff on ebay.

        • Did you end up receiving it yet and are you happy with it? Proper Apple refurb? :)

  • Sticky keyboards not clicky keyboards

  • By any chance are there any iPhone X refurbished models under this offer? … I'm struggling trying to do a search

    • i just checked, there aren't any.

      • +1

Ok thanks for checking for me 🙂. Actually I just read there is a lot problems with the Face ID feature, maybe it will be better to wait for the new version in September

  • Certified tech direct not in this sale? :(

  • Has anyone bought refurbished from grays online before? Care to comment? I'm looking at the Lenovo yoga 520 they have in this deal.

  • ANyone here bought from dvdorchard before? Found an iPhone 6 64gb for $191 delivered… any comments?
