Looks like a new deal on the David Jones website with a higher point signup. Seeing the additional 10,000 Bonus Qantas points offer mentioned below it seems good to combine-

I thought I’d signup up and get the 40,000 Qantas points total.
Also as long as you haven’t had a David Jones Amex card before you are eligible for the signup bonus even if you have a different Amex card already like the Explorer, Edge, etc.
Only strange thing is that the referral offer doesn’t offer even more points.
