      Yeah.. Love river raid also.

      • +2

        Pitfall also

        • Pitfall 2 was much better. 😀

  • Fun with Numbers. I know it's only one of the 105 games but it's a deal breaker for me…

  • River Raid on it! Sold!

  • Get the Gold Deluxe version (if it's available) only for the paddle controllers.

Still remember buying the original Flashback in like 2006. I won a 30 buck voucher in some local competition at a shopping mall and went to K-Mart and bought it for I think 40 bucks.

Sega and Atari have been making these old school consoles for literally over a decade and until the NES Classic came along, they were all around 50/60 bucks, now that the NES has come along and the appeal is there, they seem to think their's are worth more.

I'd buy one of those Mega Drive Minis in a second if they could sort out the damn audio glitches FINALLY. Also would prefer it to come without a cart slot and be a LOT smaller because of that, but I'm derailing the topic a bit much.

Point is, these things have been around for years now, and sure, the games list varies every now and then, but at it's core, it's still a box that plays old Atari games with a wired controller and an AV cable, and they only wanted 40 bucks for that nearly 15 years ago.

Edit, here's the one from 5 years back, selling for 12 (profanity) dollars in Big W. How do so many people not know these things have been around for years? https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/142184

Would need just 1 game: archon. Best game on Atari ever. And ninja was good too

    • Agree there 100%. A brilliant game.

    No ET. No deal.

    😋

If you are going anywhere near the New Mexico desert you can pick up an ET cartridge for free..

Is there a reason why they never include Pole Position on these retro consoles? The three I really want are Pitfall, River Raid and Pole Position. This has two of them.

    • I assume they would need to obtain licensing from Namco for Pole Position. Same deal with Pacman and Dig Dug.

  • Now, not that I would condone piracy, but you should know that the entire Atari 2600 Romset can be easily downloaded online and is only a few MB in size ;)
