Alienware 34" AW3418HW Curved Gaming Monitor WFHD at 160Hz Monitor - $1359.20 Delivered @ Dell eBay

Alienware make 2 different 34" gaming monitors.

This Alienware 34" AW3418HW is the cheaper of the two. Not to be confused with the better and more expensive AW3418DW.

Don't forget cash rewards!

34-inch gaming monitor featuring a curved 3800R in-plane switching display with NVIDIA® G-Sync™, wide viewing angles and incredible resolution.

The Dell AW3418HW display offers a resolution of 2560×1080. Its pixel density of 81 pixels per inch equals to a 1080p resolution on a 27-inch monitor, so the image may be too pixelated for some tastes.

However, the lower resolution does allow the Dell AW3418HW to have a faster refresh rate as you can overclock the native 144Hz up to 160Hz via G-Sync. So, you can enjoy a smoother gameplay albeit with a less vibrant image then its big brother the AW3418DW.

    Terrible deal

    • Because you don't like the monitor, or is there a cheaper price on the monitor?

Thought it was the aw3418dw for a second :(

    • I wish :)

Got that off the last sale in June at $1650 with 5 year Pro-support premium. 34 inches for 5 years. Expensive. But who needs a divorce. You can always buy something off Dell and sell it, keep the 5% dellrewards coupon then use it off a large purchase.

  • Alienware's hardware is always overpriced. Other brands like Asus ROG or LG also have displays with similar specs and lower price.

Generally Alienware is overpriced, however this monitor really is a cut above IMO. If you have a read around you find that the Alienware is preferred by a lot of people over the top end Asus/Acer offerings. I myself went with the Alienware because its an IPS display as opposed to the VA used by its competitors.

    • That's completely valid with the prebuilt PCs that they sell, but their AW3418DW really is meant to be one of the best ultrawide 'gaming' monitors.

    Ew 1080p on a 34" monitor.

The better version is available at Newegg for about the same price with free shipping: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/399833

Hmmm thats a good deal. But the Newegg price is $1600+ including taxes/duty - and its uncertain what warranty and power supply it comes with….

  • i thought it is 1440p…
