  • If you're doing 62.8 degree eggs make sure the eggs are fresh otherwise the egg just breaks apart.

        It was actually amazing.
        I usually cook my steaks in the pan and ALWAYS over cook it. The Sous Vide method sealed the flavours in and made them more pronounced. Could easily say this was the most tender steak I’ve ever eaten, no regrets!

    Tried it today on some chicken breasts which turned out real soft and juicy… maybe the softest chicken breast I've ever had which put me off to be honest even though it should be full pasteurised. It will take some time getting used to :P

      I tend to just pour in hot water from the tap.. normally gets pretty close to the temperature you need and is probably more efficient than letting your Anova run at full whack heating up cold water.

  • Tried mine for the first time with steak and it worked out brilliantly. Very similar texture to Hogs Breath Cafe which I reallyt like (I am pretty sure they use Sous Vide for their long cooked steaks too).
