Samsung Galaxy Note 9 128GB AUS Stock $1199 @ Ausluck/$1159 @ Ausluck eBay (Pricematch @ Officeworks $1139.05)

800
PHENOM

Australian stock, so will eligible for Officeworks price match if your local store has stock (no online stock available), Bringing the price down to $1139.05.

Also listed on Ausluck’s eBay store for $1259, so $1159 delivered when using PHENOM code.

Only currently showing as 3 in stock, I’m not sure how often Ausluck updates stock levels, or if this post should be banished to the forums?

Original PHENOM 10% off Sitewide on eBay Deal Post

EDIT: As of 16:52 04/09/18 these are back in stock. The 10% off eBay code has expired though. 5% code still valid, but only makes it around the same price as the website.

No longer needs to be Australian stock to price match at Officeworks

    • +12

I realise that, but the model number needs to be the same which eliminates many grey listings. The Officeworks price match is just another option to buying it directly from the seller.

      • what model number ?

        • SM-N960F

        • @Slo20: is this dual sim?

        • @Bimo: not totally sure but normally Samsung's have D at the end of the model no. for the dual sim variants. (E.g. sm-n960fd)

  • +3

try waiting couple of weeks, new iphone and pixel will make this come under $1000 easily

    • +14

      $600 in 2020.
Everyone should be buying iphone 6 and S6 now.

    • No they won't. They won't even be as good as the note 9 is. The specs of both have already leaked.

      • +5

Comparing iPhone and Samsung directly with specs has proven to be inconclusive at best, just buy whatever phone you want.

The person you are quoting’s point has never been about the iPhone better better or as good but another new flagship phone on the market would in some degree bring down note 9s price, he’s not wrong.

        • Well he actually is wrong, as he said it will be under $1000 easily, this didn't happen last year with the note 8 when the iPhone X was released.

        • +1

@Reaper: Note 8 was $999 at JBhifi by November (grey eBay stock was already sub-1000 by September)

  • I didnt think they price matched because of the coupon code ??

    • +3

They don’t - the Officeworks price match price that I put in the title is against the $1199 listing on the Ausluck website, not the Ausluck eBay store using the PHENOM code.

      • Ahh yeap nice work mate !!

  • +9

    already dropping……

Samsung phone doesn't keep its RRP price, It will drop dramatically during Christmas promotion.

Belive or not, downvoting or upvoiting, U see the truth when the day comes just like note 8 was.

    • +1

You're saying it like it's a bad thing

      • its a bad thing if u want/need to buy now ;)

  • -1

"Australian stock" but this does not come with the Samsung 2 year warranty. I'd prefer that if I'm paying out $1159

    • +3

      "Manufacturers Express Warranty (months) 24"

  • -6

    Now that is fuking bullshiy..WTF?Samsung!
    Already price drop..thats insane..
There is people that spend shitloads of money on preordering at the supppsed discounted price now this…
    Very dissapointed..

    • +5

To me it shows the mindless mentality of some consumers to spend $1500+ for a phone at launch.

      • +4

There are a lot of reasons why someone would choose to spend this much on a phone, it doesn’t make them “mindless”.

        • That's why I said some. It feels like it's the apple fanboy mentality of spending absurd amounts for a product and Samsung is taking full advantage of it.

      • $300 bucks more onto the $1500, and that would have been the cost of my first 2nd hand car :P

        • +2

Please don't gloat how rich you are

          My first car was $750

    • +1

      Preorder was for 512GB model

    • +1

I'm guessing you're one of those people lol

    • Lol..lot of Samsung supporters here…

  • Just checked with officeworks @ Gabba in qld and they wouldn't price match because the model number shown in the ausluck website is different to what officeworks have.
Ausluck also have the brand as Apple!!??! under specifications

    • Checked on officeworks website is showing model SM-N960FZBDXSA in blue colour and Auluck is also showing SM-N960F, so I think officeworks store can do the price match and 5% off

      info: https://www.officeworks.com.au/shop/officeworks/p/samsung-ga…

      • That is the dual sim version

        • both in dual sim version

  • +1

Using the $100 ebay vouchers at woolies will bring this down further (by 10 - 15%)

  • -4

$400 cheaper than Samdung's retail 'price' within 2 weeks of launch. Flipping clowns.

    • Who are the clowns, because Samsung hasn’t changed the RRP a single dollar? Have you never followed pricing of an Android flagship post launch? There’s nothing special, or surprising, happening here.

  • +2

Ahh well, I'm sure those that purchased it already are enjoying it.

  • What is "12 months Apple One year limited Warranty" ?

  • Mine is still sealed im a box…should I return to Sammy?

    • +1

      512 version though…for 1350..

      • I m after the 8gb version. Cant wait for it to go around $1200 mark

  • Lol..

  • Can I pay someone to unlock a fortnite skin for me :)

    • give me ur login/password?
then i can change ur password then give u the password back for $$xxx

      ;)

i'd be careful asking strangers that you dont know in person…

  • What a finish…lol..

  • +1

oh wow can't believe how quick it's going down already

  • The problem with Samsung, the phone has been out for 2 weeks and they are already devaluing it - especially from launch day. Not saying that iPhones are better, but this is something funny, aye

    • -1

Ive asked Sammy WTF and they responded by saying there is no warranty from them for this one..
      Just sayin..lol..

      • It’s Australian stock, Australian model, 24 month Samsung Australia warranty. I registered mine via Samsung.com.au today. Exact same as if bought from JB, HN, TGG etc.

        • BS!

        • +4

@Jozimozi: Yeah, BS for sure. WTF Sammy! Ausluck only has 99.9% positive feedback and has only conducted 26000 transactions on eBay. They keep claiming to sell Australian stock, and people keep buying phones from them and leaving positive feedback. They’ve even tricked Samsung into letting me register my fake Australian Note 9 for 24 months Australian warranty. The IMEI number for my phone has fooled Samsung into thinking my device is Australian. WTF Sammy!

Look at all the Ozbargain posts for Ausluck - every single post is Australian stock. They’ve tricked so many of us 😂

        • @aja12: lol
          Relax…enjoj your new phone…

  • +2

Didn't work for me. Officeworks employee told me the model no is different (SM-N960F vs SM-N960) and it's out of stock on the Ausluck website which means that they won't price match it.

  • Officeworks price matched it for me today. took a little while but hey i got to save a few hundred.

    • hey Dysfunct, I did go to Office works and they denied (SM-N960F vs SM-N960) as there is mismatch, could you tell me how they accepted for you. thank you.

  • +3

I called up 1300 number and got the price matched. Paid 1139.05. Thanks OP. I first called up local store and had to wait for a long time before they asked me to contact 1300 number… When I called them, it was quick and the person knew what he was doing. No dramas

    • Glad it helped, it's a great phone. And at $1150, I think it's unbeatable

    • +1 here. Thanks for the tip - I called up as well and got it for 1139.05.

      • All good, enjoy the phone.

    • +1

I did the same - called the store first and they couldn't help. But the guy on the 1300 OFFICE line was super helpful and made the pricematch + purchase a breeze. Thanks for the tip @pandaaram and thanks @aja12 for sharing the deal! :)

  • I got the 512gb version for $1329. Can anyone confirm is it the snapdragon version?

    • All Australian stock are Exynos versions :)

    • U got online or instore ? If instore than which one ?

  • Ausluck still selling 128Gb as $1199. Price matched at Officeworks today for $1139. They only checked to see if the warranty at Ausluck was 24 months manufacturer's warranty which does say it is.

    • Just looked at the specs tab on the Ausluck site where it shows the model number. It lists the brand as Apple. Did they give you any trouble about that?

      • It does say Samsung under brand. My in law just went to get another one about an hour ago. They just price matched it no problem.

  • Called officeworks now. Not giving pricebeat with ausluck anymore as ausluck is not gst registered as per officeworks.

    • +1

Its ok, price will keep going down, im sure there will be a good deal in near future.

      • Lets hope so … :(

    • That's not right - Ausluck is Australian based, has an ABN, and is selling Australian stock. They've been in business a long time.

      • Thats what the guy on 1300 no told me. He said we recieved an email from manager yesterday regarding this.

        • Sorry, I'm not saying that you weren't told that, I'm saying that what you were told was wrong.

        • +1

          @aja12:
Ya i knw wht u mean. I called many stores aswell and they all said tht it is out of stock :D
Apparently they were not ready for this price beat themselves.

        • @ChipsChicky: Interesting…when you do an ABN search on Ausluck it states that they are GST registered…

          https://abr.business.gov.au/ABN/View?id=96614466634

        • @K88:
I looked up the ABN on the phone while the Officeworks person (belligerently) waited, pointed out to him that they had an active ABN, and he still declined because they have an old ABN on their "Contact Us" page…never mind that the bottom of their website has the same ABN as on the govt website. The guy wasn't budging, saying it looked dodgy with two ABNs.

    Strange thing happened.
After calling bunch of officeworks nd getting disaapointed i Called Jb hifi.
Guy said on ph to come instore nd he ll c what he can do. I went nd he said that hav u found a cheaper price … kowing tht its same price on all retailers i said no. He started looking at his device nd said i can giv u for 1746 (512gb model). I realized tht he is looking at online retailers nd i asked of u can giv price match with Ausluck. He opened the site nd his color changed :D … said giv me time to talk to manager … nd Manager AGREED :D
Ported my no to telstra offer at same time nd they gav me 200$ voucher.
Effectively i paid 1199 for 512gb Model at jb hifi. I was in hurry, otherwise would have bought jb gift cards from Entertainment Book. But no worries. I will be claiming TRS. So ph price ll b
    1060 approx. A day spent good :D

One door closed, another door opens.

      • Yupz … it really happened wid me today :)

    • Good job, just wondering which JB store did you go?

      • I have sent u details in pm. Hope it helps. :)

  • Anyone in perth want to swap the note 9 spen? I got the black spen, wanting a yellow spen. Thanks.

  • I went to the officeworks on Pitt Street in Sydney and talked to a lovely gal there and showed the price at Ausluck of $1199 and they took a few minutes looking it up on the computer and matched it plus the 5% - $1139. (needed it this week) ….great outcome and I hope wifey will be happy with the present.

  • I'm curious what justifications people make for a 1000+ mobile phone?

I use a Huawei nova 3i and it does browsing, emails and other stuff I need for work without any lag or hiccups.

  • I ordered this from Ausluck ebay and got a Telstra branded single sim version !! Now wondering what to do as I used flybuys redemption to purchase this. Anybody else bought directly from ausluck and got a dual sim/hybrid sim version ??

    • Mine is dual sim, Optus firmware.

      • Dual sim and Optus firmware, how is that even possible !! All carrier branded ones are supposed to be single sim. Does the box have a DUOS sign on the back side ? Did you buy off ebay or directly on their website ? I have dropped you a PM.

        • Correct, i sold my optus plan's Note 9 and now want to buy Dual Sim Note 9
