    Same in Woolworths

    • Any catalogue links? My local one doesn't seem to have it :-(

      • I also saw this instore today (SA) 15% off all recharge.

  • +1

Can you pre purchase and use say in a few months time?

    • Different phone companies have different expiries on their prepaid vouchers. If you call up the recharge number, it'll tell you somewhere through the prompts how long vouchers are valid.

Most are 1-6 months, I believe.

    • i'm pretty sure you can't because it's 30day-120days expiry (to validate it)

      EDITED

    • bugger.

    • When you purchase the voucher, there will be an expiry date on it. I bought a Lebara recharge a few months ago from Woolies, the expiry date is sometime on 2021.

      Yes, that's 2021.

      • wow 2021
        that's 10 year expiry
        …unheard of

Question is, will that company still be around in that time. >_>

Just bought a Virgin recharge today, expires 1/2/2012

So your cunning plan might work, depending on who you are with.

  • Does anyone have a link for this on the online catalogues? Coles / Safeway internet sites for my postcode don't have it in the catalogue. It would be great to try and get Officeworks to beat it

Anyone know if you can get Mobile Broadband Vouchers too?

    • Go here: http://catalog.coles.com.au/ and enter your postcode.

Different states have different Coles specials as I found out with the Shapes promotion which I am still a sad sad panda about. :/

      • I've tried 2000, 3000, 5000, 6000, 7000….maybe I'm blind, but I can't find it :-(
        oh well

        • Oh I see what you mean. I couldnt find it either but according to the first two comments here: http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/40055 it is available in Melbourne. It must be on a separate flyer.

I've found that theres an error in the coles system and for certain products at certain coles in sydney you get 27.75% off instead of 15%. So far ive found, Optus $30, Optus $50, Voda $30, Voda $29, Voda $20, Telstra $30, 3G $29. I'm sure theres more. As for when they will fix this error i have no idea.

    • Confirmed, Virgin as well.

      • Just went back to get another one, and they have caught on to their mistake. Only 15% off now :-(

  • thanks picked up a 29 vodaphone recharge with the the bonus 60 mins of calls at coles exp 13/12/12 = 24.65

  • Woolworths to copy in next week's catelogue, beating it with 20%

    • +1

Are you sure woolworths doing 20% next week?

    • Was that in the printed catalog that gets sent in the mail?
If so then I'll hold out till then

    • Can someone confirm that it's true?

      • +1

l looked in the catalog for WW starting the 2 march and no deal in WA

Does anyone know whether this would include the Telstra iPad data recharge? Obviously they sell it according to the website but I guess the issue is whether this would fall into the category of mobile recharge.
    http://telstra.com.au/bigpond-internet/mobile-broadband/micr…
I would be after the $150 12GB 365 day recharge.

    • Telstra iPad recharge is the same as the mobile recharge. The voucher does not differentiate…

  • can i price match this at officeworks ?

    • +1

Yes I have previously price match at OW recharge offers and also itune offers. I don't think anything has changed on their pricematch policy so you should be able to do that. Although depending on whom you get you may be given a run around for the price match. Go in with a proof of the offer. It would help.

      Cheers.

  • I bought a $29, 3 recharge last night at Coles and the cost was $20.49, much better discount than the 15% advertised - Coles at Stanhope Gardens, NSW

  • i went to woolworths today and saw some flyers. they are matching the 15% deal.

    • All woolworths or just some?

      • i don't know. the walls and checkouts were plastered with the flyers at garden city, mt gravatt and carindale (qld)

  • Hi guys, I am wondering about buying a Huawei IDEOS from Crazy Johns. I am using CJ on Flatchat at the moment, but I think is a good deal to buy one now, recharge for $80 and get unlocked for free. My question is if I can use my old CJ number with Ideos to get unlocked after spending $80 and if the 15% off recharge works with Crazy Johns?
$80-15%=$68+$129= $197 for unlocked IDEOS and $80 for calls and text - that is a lot!

    Any advices? Better options?

    cheers

    • Which Ideos? It's a range now.

Personally, at this exact moment, if I had a friend in the UK, I'd be getting the ZTE Blade (Orange San Francisco) for £90 ($144), unlocking for free, and installing one of the hacked ROMs. Then you could use whatever SIM you fancied.

This will change with May and the new phones coming onto the market.

      Edit eg

      Bog std Ideos
      Android 2.2
      2.8 inch screen
      320x240
      3Mpix camera
      528Mhz CPU
      256MB RAM

      ZTE Blade
      Android 2.3 with ROM upgrade
      3.5 inch
      800x480
3 or 5 Mpix camera (depends on which you get)
      600Mhz CPU
      512MB RAM

      • ZTE specification looks good. If I would be in UK I would go for it. I need something here and as far as I know U8150 is the price/specification option. Thanks for your answer!

  • so is woolworths also having a 15% off? and does this apply to all types of recharge cards like, telstra prepaid broadband? since it is a recharge card after all :)

  • Anyone know if anywhere in A.C.T is offering this 15% off?
