Am not sure if only Vic, nor how long on sale. Store rep told me he couldn't tell me when sale would end and that head office decide when to take it off sale.

Good question! I think Richmond only had five but Braybrook told me they had about 50. So I guess stock will vary store to store & those interested need to phone whichever store(s) are closest.

I also checked for price match at father company HN Nth Geelong who didn't have any in store but say they are planning to get some (when I don't know). Checked Dick Smith Nth Geelong who didn't stock them at all.

could someone please post a receipt? clive peeters dandenong weren't joining the party with the price. the rep on the phone said the promotion ended and that he might be able to offer "20% off if i came in store". that's bc.
That's strange hey! I spoke to at least two stores today who acknowledged the $48 price. I don't have a receipt yet as I live too far away and got someone else to make the purchase for me (and confirmed they have done such. If someone doesn't post a receipt in time… (Maybe a long shot)…I wonder if you could pay over phone at a cooperative store but pick up at Dandenong.

Given that many Clive Peeters stores (owned by Gerry Harvey) seem unwilling to honour the advertised price, it is clear that this item was just meant to be a component of bait advertising. In my opinion Gerry is famous for this. He will allocate a few per store, but rarely enough to cover for the punters who visit, hoping to get a bargain. Is is any wonder that the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission has investigators at his stores on such a regular basis. It would appear that they are sniffing around for evidence to prosecute. Would anyone care to offer any evidence?
I'm disappointed (p****d off) seemingly so many store reps didn't honor this. Person whom I got to pick up for me dropped off at relatives where I left cash. They also bought themself one, so I still don't have a receipt.
Hmm and I thought I could share the "sale price" here. I guess I will have to make sure I obtain a receipt or copy thereof in future.
