      Hi Jamesx, this food jar is amazing, you can cook in it, for example, You can put a raw egg and boiling water in it together, wait two or three hours, you will find the eggs cooked. And you can cook some food too, such as rice to Porridge,and it also works as a water bottle, keep the Temperature.

      • "put a raw egg and boiling water" … and a tea bag… then you can have a cup of tea with a cooked egg.

        Weird idea to cook in insulated jar

          I want my eggs in 2 or 3 minutes, not hours.

        • Your idea is so wired, its function likes thermos, you can make simple cook with it, it has function of cooking and water bottle.Stewed Beaker works that you put the food (especially soup) into the cup, and then injected with boiling water, and then cover up the lid for about 2 hours, with the help of the cup insulation function, so that food in the approximate temperature of boiling water.
          It is a convenient and economical cooking utensils. With a pot, stew, stew, burning, heat preservation, cooling, easy to carry a number of functions.

        • @footyboy: sorry, it can not do that, I have no heard of things will cook egg so quick. My idea is that you can prepare your egg in the morning, then you can eat it at lunch.

        • @footyboy:

          These are not designed to cook eggs in 2 or 3 mins, these are thermal containers for food for sustaining temperature for hours.

        • @Yaren24: Yes, my friend, you can think so, but it can cook soup.

          @Newdora:

          Thanks, I think $20 is a good deal for these containers. They generally range from $30 to $50 in between.

    are u sure this can boil egg in 2hr?
    If not, can I return ?

    • Hi, I have used it myself, I remember the time is about three hours, I can not sure if two hours enough or not.
      I go to work at 9 am, put one egg and 100 degree water into that thermos, and I have lunch at 12 am, three hours, the egg was cooked.

  • There's a cheaper option to cook eggs - https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/379442
