Can I get new apple watch with split payments ?

You can if you find them in store

  • -5

Fake offer for me unfortunately. Not offered.
    Anyone have a manual link?

  • Seems to be targeted

  • I have it on my two amex cards.

  • Can someone please tell me why I have not received any amex offer in the website since three months ago. I have tried to contact them for at least three times, the staff never figured out what has happened and tell me that my account is normal which I highly doubted.

Anyone has had similar issue and get it sorted out?

    • +1

You can at least go to Amex Connect (https://www.americanexpress.com/au/network/shopping.html) and check the specials there. It's not as easy to register though, and not all the deals appear (for example no Harvey Norman there at the moment). I'd just contact them again and see if they can work out what's happening - try to get a case number of some sort so you can refer to it whenever you contact them…..

"Can someone please tell me why I have not received any amex offer in the website since three months ago"

i cannot . most people cannot. only amex can.

      • +1

Even Amex won't be able to answer this - my entire stack of cards haven't had a single offer posted whether that be targeted or generally available on Amexoffers. Asked Amex, no idea, escalated through the chain and the only response I've got was oh the algorithm favours people who generally pay everything off in full every month and when they say everything every month, this includes the credits that's been applied against the account regardless of source (refund/promo credits). I've followed that to the letter for a month or two then it started working 100% again.

Seems to be broken for me again…sigh. So far no Hyatt/Hardly Normal for me.

        • Thanks. I guess I am same as T-man's case.

      • Thanks for your effort.

    • +1

Yes, I got the same problem, did you miss any payment to Amex? Or if they cannot charge the money to your bank for the statement balance once, you will not see any offers. You can see the offers again in a few months.

      • Yes. Exactly what happened. I have accidentally missed a payment. So a few months means? Three/Four/Five. Is your case solved automatically or does it take you to call them again and again until its fixed?

        Thanks

        • It is self-solved (~ 3 months if I remember correctly), I called them and they told me that this is how the system works.

One more thing you should notice that the payment will be delayed up to 7 days once the money has been cleared in your bank account if you set up the direct debit on your account. The money will be credited in 24h if you use bpay to pay your account balance.

i dont have it :( anyone have manual link?

  • Got it on primary and 3 supps on Plat Edge. While up to 20% cashback is still a pretty good offer I hope they don't erode the value any further next year! It's starting to get below the threshold where it makes HN prices even remotely competitive (and even Australian retail in general, with price match).

  • +1

I don't have it on Platinum Edge or DJ's amex, is this targeted?
Is there a manual link some where?

  • Got it on my Amex Explorer! Now to patiently wait……

  • Neither of my velocity plat have it.

  • 1x Velocity Bus charge card 1 of 2 cards have offer
1x Qantas Bus charge card 0 of 2 cards have offer
1x Explorer card 3 of 4 cards have offer
1x Platinum Edge 0 of 5 cards have offer :((

    • you/your partner have 13x AMEX cards???

      • oops a bit late.

Yes we do. Most are supplementary cards. 4 are main account cards, the other 9 are all supps.

  • saved!

  • Thanks saved!

  • Got 4 of them. Waiting for that MSI laptop to go back down to $1287

        What?

      • +5

        You must be new here

      • +3

        4 cards. 4 x $50 = $200. Quik maths

        newbie.

      • +3

        Rookie.

  • Weird. Got it on my primary Explorer and wife's supplementary, as well as her primary Velocity Escape but not my Escape supplementary…Anyone have the direct link to the offer?

  • Not showing up on my plat edge

  • +2

    Any manual enrolment links?

  • +2

Strange, not every card had the offer..

    • I didn't get it on either of my cards.

  • +1

Thanks, got it on all 12 cards.

    • -2

Do u have 12 Amex credit cards?

Wondering how ur personal credit record is affected…

      • +7

        They're primary + supplementary cards.
Two of them are my accounts, other one isn't. Three accounts in total.
Four cards (1 primary + 3 supp) per account, so 12 cards all up.
Accounts were opened years ago (two years apart from each other), so no tangible effect on my credit record.

Makes big purchases more affordable - and events like VAEFNO and SS are great times to save on stuff that I'd normally buy anyway.
I think the neggers are just jealous.

        • -1

          here's one plus atleast

        • I see thanks bro.

        • Same. We have 4 cards with 3 supp each so 12 in total

      • +3

        Mathnerd has 20+

        • You can only have 4 supp per primary and 2 primary per person. He would have 10 Max for himself

        • +2

          Spot-on :)

        • But MN doesn't get negged to oblivion.

          I do.

        • @easternculture: @easternculture From Amex yes, but there's the bank-branded ones…..

        • +1

@KaptnKaos: I +'d all your comments, stuff the neggers.

        • @easternculture:

A couple can get 40 now without breaking any limits.

    • Can I confirm you have to create 12 accounts then or is there another way to save offer to supps?

  • People who are saving - do you have to log into your account>?
I am not able to either login or register a new account. This is a CBA issued card'

What is the best way to saved the offer directly to the card without loggin in?

    • I got a CBA card too, wondering if anyone can share the manual link?

    • Yes you have to log into the website or app to save the offer.

No my CBA is not showing in the app either, I was wondering reason or how I can register that one into my Amex app.

  • -1

What do you reckon the chances of a pending transaction from yesterday getting credited? Crosses fingers.

    • +1

Less than zero. Refund and rebuy?

        • +3

          Non-professionals
Professionals have way more then 10
