What is Quick Charge 3.0 and VoltIQ?

Qualcomm's Quick Charge 3.0 technology is 4x faster than conventional charging and up to 40% quicker than Quick Charge 2.0. It typically charges a compatible device from 0% to 80% in 35 minutes. It achieves this by increasing the voltage from 3.6V to 20V with 200mV increments. This technology is backwards compatible with Quick Charge 2.0 and Samsung AFC which is capable of charging a 3500mAh battery from 0% to 60% in 30 minutes.

VoltIQ is for devices not using QC technology and intelligently charges up to 5V/2.4A.

    The cable specs state “High-quality USB-C to USB-C cable can carry a 5V/3A max current for fast and safe charging.“. Does this mean it will only charge a MacBook Pro at max speed of 15W?

      Yes that is correct. A USB-PD charger is more suitable for a Macbook.

    Still haven't received my usb-C car charger from the previous deal (2nd Sept order). Ordered USB C cables from them on the same day and they arrived over a week ago. Anyone else received their car charger from that deal.

      At least yours didn't arrive at a different address. I am not a sour grape but after stating 5 times they delivered it to a different address they still came back with the same answer that it was mailed to the correct address. Thank god for paypal otherwise their customer service is horrible. I would def buy another one as the first one I got had no issues except the cord breaking (my fault). Def a great product but terrible service

    I bought the Tronsmart CCTA QC 3.0 & USB-C Car Charger from last deal and it is not usable. The USB-C cable gets extremely hot and does not provide power into my phone. Really have no idea why that happened.

    I received my car charger, shipping was fast. The product itself exceeded my expectations. This is well built, high quality stuff. You can tell from the packaging that it's not cheap stuff. Very impressed. Now Tronsmart is one of my go to brand with Blitzwolf.
