Hmm can't seem to add this to cart at present. Problem could be at my end, after storms this afternoon.

    • Did you choose a colour?

      • +2

cart not loading for me either. And yes i picked a colour.

    • I couldn't add to cart after choosing usd currency. I could add it to the cart in AUD then changed to USD on the cart page. Weird…

Still waiting for the ones from the last deal! As it is from Zapal’s, probably won’t show up.

    • mine only turned up last week!

      • Ditto. Received mine. Was starting to think this was an elaborate way to scam someone $1.73 at a time but then they arrived!

    • +1

I sent them a message cause it was more than a month and they said to wait up to 60 business days

      • +1

Nothing takes 60 business days to send. Either they're incredibly lax on their stock levels and sometimes have to wait extender period for more product, or they're just hoping you give up. I'm also still waiting on mine from the first deal.

        • How long is 60 business days? 12 weeks? Or 8.57142857143?

          • @Oz-Bogan: 12 weeks.

@folktaliesin: I shop from china a lot, Shipping itself doesn't take that long, however leaving the country will.
Main reason is that they add the order to a shipping container (or similar) and wait for it to fill up.
One container divided by 10'000 orders = cheap shipping.

To post them individually the way you're thinking would cost a few dollars; and there will be plenty of shops out there that offer said 'normal shipping' just expect $2~5 AUD postage costs.

If you order from china on ebay, always check for the promise of 'standard international post' or 'economy international post'.
Economy = wait for a mass shipment.

I didn't receive it either. There was an attempt to use my card a few days after that transaction. Wonder if this could be a scam used to collect credit card details.

      • +5

It's surprising how brazen some internet scams are, but fortunately I know how to check if a CC has been compromised - PM me your card details and I'll take a look…

      • I would always use PayPal if was an option.

      • They don't allow paypal?

You should always use paypal, because that way they don't get to see your card number.

    • Mine arrived like 2 weeks ago.

    • Yep, still waiting for mine lol. I sent an email and got told to "patiently wait".

    • Yeah still waiting for mine too.

    • Still waiting for mine as well. Sent zapal enquiry and was told the same thing.

      • "No, I'm not waiting any longer. If you haven't processed a refund in the next six hours, I'll be lodging a dispute through PayPal."

My refund was processed within a day of sending them this.

    • Me too. So far only received a few cables from more recent and older offers, not sure why a few strips of Velcro take so long.

I haven’t ordered random junk from China in a while. I miss getting little mystery packages from overseas. Thanks OP

A nice little surprise for Xmas!

      • Most of the year has been Xmas so far (just not so much in the past month). 🤪

      • +2

Yes, Christmas 2019 is looking good!

      • You will be lucky if they arrive before Xmas.

  • got some last time….pretty good quality material & construction but warning theyre short in length…

  • Site is down now. I get a maintenance page.

    • I can get in and add to cart as I type this.

Ordered these when the last deal was on. Never received. And having trouble getting a refund through Zapals. So go purchase at your own risk, I guess.

    • -5

Same with the last thing I ordered from Zapals, and I've complained about it on here too, but unless you can prove it's the fault of Zapals (and not simply lost in transit or stuck in customs), it's not really justification for a neg.

      • +3

From what I've read, ordering from Zapals is surely a hit and miss - incredibly late deliveries if at all (as your own experience has shown). So I'd say that, and poor customer service, deserves a neg.

My experience includes the fact they didn't update my order for three weeks. So I'm getting a pretty bleak picture on how things are run in that company.

        • I've ordered from Zapals a half dozen times, and all have arrived except the most recent one. And as most here seem to choose the cheapest, uninsured, untracked shipping option available, and as you can always get a refund through PayPal anyway (and Zapals are well aware of this), negging them for what is more than likely an Aus Post or customs issue is a shitty move.

          • +3

@dm01: 'More than likely'? I disagree sorry. You can read several other posts in this very thread of people not receiving orders. I think any reasonable person can point to the company to blame when the same comments don't come up for other international sellers. But my neg also comes from the fact that I've received poor customer service. So I think no, it's not a shitty move. It's an entirely reasonable neg. But hopefully even just our chat here can help people make up their mind whether they buy or not.

            • +1

@folktaliesin: Several other posts? Out of how many orders? This deal already has 1000 click throughs as I write this, plenty of those will order, and of those orders, there will be some that never arrive. If Zapals weren't sending out any orders, there'd be a whole lot more people making a lot more noise about it, but of course the majority do receive theirs and so are not heard from.

              That's how reasonable people think.

As for customer service, giving them a two day ultimatum to process a refund before you have PayPal or your CC company process one worked for me.

Please see https://www.ozbargain.com.au/wiki/help:voting_guidelines#neg… as you can see not receiving an order is explicitly mentioned as a reason for a negative vote.

    • Mine took around 7 weeks to arrive.

  • Not that I would recommend…
But it works also for >1 and could also work for multiple orders at the moment…
    (…Hypothetically)

  • Ordered, thanks OP - hopefully I have more luck in receiving this one.

  • Thanks. Got one set.

  • +2

Got these last deal and the quality of these are pretty poor. they are worth $1.73 at most tbh

  • +2

As someone who has a love of velcro ties, couple of little things to note:
The cheap ones are sometimes the hook and loop layers glued together. The glue can sometimes come apart (when they're this cheap it doesn't matter so much).
I've moved to buying rolls of velcro in a continuous roll, you can cut it to length then (most pieces I use are only 2-5cm long as they only really need to go around the cable about twice).

    • +1

I use ^this too. I sit my small day backpack on my roller suitcase and wrap the two handles together with Velcro when travelling. Then simply detach and put the Velcro in a pocket for the return journey.

    • -2

      Nice tip, thanks!

      • Somehow, you getting negged is the funniest thing I've seen EVER

    • Do you have a link for such a roll please? Bunnings perhaps?

      • Try Officeworks or Ebay: velcro roll

      • reject shop sell them

  • They are fraud.. my watch never arrived…

  • Still waiting for mine from last time…

    • They finally arrived!

  • Never received either, but realised I don't want them anyway.. no reply to an attempt to get a refund.

Thank you for shopping with Zapals.
Your order was shipped out on Aug 15,2018 via non-register air mail without tracking number. (Despite a (fake) tracking number being supplied and shipping stating 7-20 business days on my order summary page.)

Normally, shipping time is 7-45 days. (Had already waited 55 business days.)

Would you pls wait for more days patiently? Our team has no way of tracing back the whereabouts of your parcel as there is no further tracking information available for this type of shipping method. (Translation: "We never sent your item but we want to kick the can of responsibility down the road a little further and hope you'll forget about the small amount of money you paid us.")

Pls feel free to contact us if you have any more questions. (Tried and failed, order history got deleted from my account on their website, ended up getting a refund through PayPal.)

Multiple previous orders from Zapals never receieved…

  • Still waiting on mine from the last deal.

  • I've ordered from Zapals 9 times since 2015.
Haven't had the package gone missing yet.

  • Have had 3 orders from zappals.

1 item didn't receive. It was the little blackboard stickers to label jars. Had troubles getting a refund from them in the end I gave up .

  • Hey! Quadcopter battery straps!

  • +1

I ordered 2 sets of these last time. 1 arrived after almost 11 weeks. The other hasn't even come yet and it's been over 12 weeks now. The tracking numbers they give you for "HK Post" don't even work ffs. Time to attempt a refund -_-

And btw these are short. The "20 cm" length in the description/pic is kind of misleading. You only get 6cm of hook and 13cm of loop.

  • I found one on ebay for $2.67 and it will arrive estimated between Wed. 7 Nov. and Wed. 12 Dec.

    Just FYI
