REUSABLE & EASY TO CLEAN: You only need one plank mouse trap to catch all mice at your place instead of keeping buying a bunch of other traps. It is also very easy to clean up both the trap and the bucket.

HUMANE & NON POISON: The bucket trap utilizes non-toxic bait such as peanut butter, cream or other baits on the end of the plank. Fill 1/3 of the bucket with water to be fatal if you wish or catch and release them from the bucket.

AUTO RESET TO CATCH MULTIPLE MICE: Hooks on the edge of the bucket directly, once mouse walks and eats on the plank, its weight very easy to make plank instantly tilted. then mouse drop into bucket. The plank will reset automatically.

SAFE AND EFFECTIVE: This trap is extremely effective when it comes to catching mice- if you wish to have better luck with catching, try hanging two traps on a bucket, very safe for you and finger.

100% ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION & 12-MONTH WARRANTY:100% environmental protection plate material. We promise 12-month warranty and offers return/replacement within 30 days of receipt of delivery.

LOTs of videos no youtube on how to make one yourself easily with a bucket and slip a bar in the middle
    or just get a cat

    • +5

      just get a cat

I'd rather have rats than a cat.

      • Its true that rats are super low maintenance, if no food in the house they'll have whatever is in the neighbours house

They multiply fast too thus quick RoI

    • man….talking about more than one way to skin a cat!

  • -1

Any suggestions on what to use as the bridge to the plank?

    • +1

      Electric extension cord.

Much more humane,if you do it right.

Won't have to worry about mice,if you muck up badly.

  • +3

HUMANE: Fill 1/3 of the bucket with water to be fatal if you wish

Drowning over the course of a few hours, extremely humane!

    • -1

      Dear Customer,
Thank you for your comment. This means if you don't want to kill the mice, you can just fill 1/3 water instead of full. So mice won't be drown. Please feel free to ask if you still have any other questions.

      Have a nice day!

      Best regards,

But it says “Fill 1/3 of the bucket with water to be fatal”. Fatal often means to kill, die, death etc

        • +2

If you fill the bucket up the mouse will have an enjoyable swim, get out and invite his friends around for a bite to eat at his new swimming pool and diving tower :)

        • +2

          "It's humane, lalala, not listening!"

      • -4

Fill 1/3 of the bucket with water to be fatal if you wish…

        OP, how is this humane?

    • +2

If you fill it with milk, you can make butter!

      • +2

        With chocolate sprinkles.

Mother mouse had four children,Un,Deux,Trois and Quatre.

She told them to stay away from these things.

          Took no notice.

          Consequently,Un,Deux,Trois et Quatre cinq.

  • I want to know how we get the mouse to climb the ladder to get to the plank.

    • There is a reason that hardware stores like Bunnings don't sell these drowning traps. Humane kill-traps for pests are legal in Australia, but inhumane ones are not. The RSPCA finds that drowning traps are inhumane but I am not aware that is established in case law. So they may be quasi-legal, but I'm going to agree with @dm01 on this one.

  • Dang, I could have used one of these for the apartment I stayed at in London.

    • -1

Yes, this product is very suitable for people who lived in the apartment.

      • +9

I don't think so - you'l need a much bigger bucket and longer plank for people.

  • Dear Customer,
Thank you for your comment and interest. You could kindly check our store (https://www.amazon.com.au/s/ref=bl_dp_s_web_4851799051?ie=UT…) and tell us what product you want, then we will post a new deal for the product which is mentioned most.

  • What's with all the mouse-drowning advocates on OzBargain today?

    • -1

      Mice & rats are vermin.

Hopefully you never have a loved one killed because a rat gnawed through the electrical wiring to cause a fire.

      • -1

If you can't see your way to dispatching an animal quickly and humanely, you're no better than an animal yourself.

        • -1

I care about the people I love first.

I wouldn't even want my cat eating them to prevent transference of disease like toxoplasmosis.

          • +3

@OzBurger: What has caring about people got to do with killing an animal humanely? I kill plenty of mice each year, but it's done as quickly as possible - no need to drown the things and make them suffer.

          • +3

@OzBurger: Killing mice isn't the question here - it's the morality of making them drown over the course of a few hours that is unnecessarily cruel.

  • +4

I've watched enough tom n jerry to know this doesn't end well.

  • +1

Make your house unattractive to mice. No need to kill. Bad karma.

    • +2

e.g. Paint it in colours they're not fond of, decorate in a feline oriented theme…

      • I've had loads of p u s s y over, didnt change anything to the mouse situation

        • +2

Don't bring home the cheesy ones.

Pro-tip - put snakes in the bucket
