How much do you normally sell these at ???

    • Well, they are $324 in the whole one other place I just looked. It's a pretty good price in comparison.

    • Around $300

This is great, but do you sell a knife suited to the indoors type of man? I want something gentle on my palms, yet rugged and bristling with pointy menace. You know, in case I should need to survive for extended periods of time with only 1 blade and/or kill something.

"there is a 7 day delivery time on these knives"… but I need to stab something now!

  • Bear Grills has left the country already.

I'm no knife connoisseur, but at that price range, I think I'd go for a Leatherman multi-tool.

5 Only doesnt take means it cant be posted? MOD?

    • This isn't an eBay listing

    • I think it can (according to the guidelines) as long as the quantity is mentioned in the post.

    • It's a guideline subject to logical interpretation. 5 cheap Wiis on sale, I would say not enough quantity. 5 $20 dvds, probably not enough. 5 corporate box tickets at $453 each, fine to stay.
5 unique $229 knives that are still not sold out after 2.5 hours, I'd say is fine.

They're not unique, they are all the same

        • Always on the ball jv. Unique as in this is a specialised item that's probably not the target audience of Ozbargain. The big picture is, we don't want people posting stuff where as soon as they post the deal, it will be sold out. Fair enough things sell out, but as of 3 hours, there still appears to be quantity.

yep, they don't seem to have sold any of the five yet…

probably not such a 'bargain' after all…

  • 5 items isn't enough for a community bargain, whether or not you think it's a bargain or not

    • +1

I disagree… I think it depends on demand.

    • that's ridiculous!

the best bargain i have ever found on this site was a bodyboard that was around 70% off rrp from memory.

speciality items might not attract the same volume of sales as say consumer computer goods, but that doesn't mean there aren't five people looking for a nice knife without paying full rrp.

  • It's more of a dagger than a knife.

    • +1

shame they don't sell clokes too…

      • cloak and dagger much?

        • But, can it gut a cornish game hen?

    • It's nothing like a dagger, a general definition of a dagger is it is solely used as a weapon has basically no practical use (very different to this knife), they typically have a sharpened edge on the upper side as well as lower. A 2 oz sharpened prybar is definitely not a dagger, unless you can reference me to something that says differently?

  • not cheap at all, you can get it at USD179, plus USD30 shipping to Aus, still cheaper than this one.

    • -1

I'm not sure I would agree with that, the price difference is only $20 and you don't have to risk going through customs (i've personally lost a lot of knives through them and their loose definitions.). Having said that I don't think it's a BARGAIN. Maybe at $170

      • Should've shot off an email to customs first.

    • I'd rather pay $20 more and have consumer protection, save time dealing with customs if it is seized, faster postage etc.
