Breville Microwave [MODEL NUMBER #BMO300] $129 @ TARGET (RRP $229.95)

380

Breville Microwave

$129.00 (Save $100 / 43%)

1100 watts. 9 auto cook menus. Easy-touch pad with instant cook. 34 litre capacity. New. This offer not available at Target Country stores unless stated otherwise. BM0300.

I bought this one from Target yesterday, after buying and returning a $49.00 microwave oven from Kmart, when I realised that I could not fit a dinner plate inside it. The Breville Microwave oven is a good size and working well.

thanks giraffe, uve been most helpful. Really appreciate it!

      • Great thanks — just wondering if the microwave's got any forms of presets, such as for fresh/frozen vegetables, what the defrost options are, and whether it's got a quick start.

Difficult to see from the photos and the description.

  • seems weird to ask this, but is there any issue enterting a manual cook time? believe it or not, there is a microwave at work that defies manual cooking time…

thanks for reminding me about the home sale too op

    • Presets: it has 9 presets (one on each number key) - Auto Reheat, Vegetable (doesn't specify fresh or frozen), Fish, Meat, Pasta, Potato, Pizza, Soup, Oats. With these you don't can't set your weight exactly but each time you press these buttons you cycle through a few weight options (eg. 150g,350g,500g)
    • Defrost: there is a Weight Defrost and an Express Defrost. There aren't different defrost options for different meats.
    • Quick Start: has a quick start function, each time you press it increases 30s up to 2min and then 1min increments up to 12min.
    • Manual Cooking: no issues - you just click Power Level (cycles through 100%,80%,50%,30%,10%) then enter the cooking time on the number pad
    • It also has functions for Delay Start and Multi-section Cooking

Any other questions let me know, I'm happy to help :)

Thanks for the details! Maybe Breville should be paying you to improve their description on their site.

Off to try and buy one this afternoon. Looking forward to having numbers back on the keypad - my current microwave has only increments. That, and looking forward to being able to fit a plate in it as well.

  • Thanks guys, great deal. I'm going to buy one for my mum.
Silly question, does this microwave(do all microwaves) have a clock on it???
My mum would make me take it back if it didn't ;)

  • I'd save up and pay extra for one that has sensor reheat. After having an old microwave without this feature, I don't know how I managed. Not having it means having to constantly stop it, check the food, start it again, etc. So much hassle. For under $200 you should be able to get one with sensor… well worth every cent.
